FBM will raise funds for the charity in a series of events during the year and beyond
FBM, the group of companies which include the FBM Estate Agency, FBM Holidays, FBM Residential Lettings and also Fine and Country (Pembrokeshire office) brands have selected the Huntington’s Disease Association as it’s official highlighted charity.
Whilst individual brands in the FBM Group will continue to support a wealth of organisations, the Group as a whole has selected the HDA as it’s recognised charity on an ongoing basis, and the firm plan to raise funds in a series of events during the 2018 calendar year and beyond. The culmination of this year’s fundraising for the HDA will see around 20 members of staff from all over the group’s brands come together to walk Snowdon in September, with a fundraising goal of £10,000 in mind.
Huntington’s disease is an illness that can affect the body’s nervous system. The HDA improve care and support services for people with Huntington’s disease, educate families and professionals, and champion people’s rights. They also put a lot of time, money and resources into research.
The FBM group have raised money for HDA in the past, but not in such an official capacity.
Representatives from the firm have stated that “By selecting the Huntington’s Disease Association as our highlighted charity, and by announcing our September walking event at Snowdon, it puts a marker down that we are serious about raising funds for this most worthwhile of causes as well as challenging ourselves to make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.”
