HARBWR Bar & Kitchen

Serving up hearty pub dishes in a perfect sea view location with a bright and colourful terrace and a stylish interior with exposed beams, HARBWR Bar & Kitchen is firmly on the dog-friendly pub map. A warm welcome and generous portions await and you can enjoy webcam views of picturesque Saundersfoot Harbour while you dine.

The Ploughman’s and Sunday lunch at this friendly spot come highly recommended and you can enjoy live music on Saturday nights and dance the night away with local live bands. There's also a great range of grills and fish specials straight from beautiful Saundersfoot Bay.

Part of the Harbwr Group, taste the fantastic range of local craft ales from Harbwr Brewery in nearby Tenby, a craft brewery and taproom brewing up a range of core ales near the historic Tenby Harbour.

The Royal Oak

Serving quality dishes in the heart of Saundersfoot, The Royal Oak is a firm favourite for visitors where well-behaved, socialised, and friendly dogs are welcome.

The Mulberry Restaurant & Bar

The Mulberry Restaurant & Bar is a great choice for a special occasion and allows dogs, just phone ahead to secure your table and enjoy a fine meal in a warm welcoming space. 

Sit outdoors and watch the world go by with your furry friend and enjoy a refreshing drink and bite to eat from the lunchtime favourites. The Sunday lunches here are delicious and you'll leave feeling satisfyingly full. 

Evenings here are cosy and the menu offers mouth-watering options such as wild mushroom and spinach risotto; rolled shoulder of lamb with crushed new potatoes, ratatouille and jus; Rossini – 8oz fillet steak, topped with foie gras and a Madeira sauce, sauteed potatoes or chips, veg or salad; and slow cooked confit duck, sautéed potatoes, red cabbage and jus.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a fun friendly bar and restaurant with amazing cocktails and a delicious menu packed with dishes such as carbonara, burgers, lasagne, hunter's chicken and steak frites. 

There's a great beer garden out the back where you and your four-legged friend can also sit and eat a lovely lunch or evening meal.

The service is swift and weekends are lively with local bands keeping you entertained throughout the evening. The Boathouse is also a great spot for a daytime coffee and cake catch-up with friends. 

Periwinkle Bistro

Enjoy lovely food and a taste of the Mediterranean at Periwinkle Bistro. This family-run bistro where dogs are welcome has amazing gluten-free options and the service is outstanding.

If you fancy a picnic on the beach with your pawfect four-legged friend then Periwinkle offers a delicious range of freshly made takeaways to savour while enjoying spectacular sea views.

Mamgu Welshcakes

For something sweet straight off the griddle then visit Mamgu Welshcakes on Saundersfoot Harbour. This dog-friendly cafe enjoys amazing views of the picturesque harbour and beyond onto Saundersfoot Beach and is the perfect pit stop after a refreshing dog walk.

You'll be spoilt for flavours; from traditional ones to coconut and chocolate and pumpkin spice, there's plenty to tickle the tastebuds. There's also a delicious twist to a classic cafe menu with their Welsh soul food such as Crempogs (Welsh pancakes), Welsh Rarebit and their famous savoury Welsh cakes such as cheese and leek. 

The Stone Crab

The Stone Crab restaurant serves up excellent seafood with fabulous views of Saundersfoot Harbour. The interior is relaxed and there's outdoor seating with views of the harbour so your doggies can join you for your meal too.

With mouth-watering starters, sharers and steaks, you'll be spoilt for choice at this unique seafood restaurant. Dishes include Thai green local seafood and shellfish curry, posh fish and chips, mussels, lobster, king prawn linguini, antipasto and Saundersfoot soft crab scotch egg.

Butternut Pantry

Amazing food awaits at the dog-friendly Butternut Pantry cafe, a firm favourite for a spot of brunch or lunch. Dine in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and warm welcome, or sit outside and watch the world go by.

The breakfasts here are unforgettable, from stacked pancakes dripping in loveliness to eggs Benedict and the tastiest cooked breakfast around, you and your pawesome pup will not regret a visit to this fabulous cafe.

The Captains Table

Enjoy hearty pub grub at The Captains Table, a lively dog-friendly pub in Saundersfoot with an extensive beer garden overlooking the bustling harbour. There are even cute little huts where you can enjoy the outdoor vibe under a shelter.

New Inn, Amroth

Amroth is a picturesque seaside village near Saundersfoot with a half-mile-long sandy beach with a huge expanse of sand at low tide so dogs can run around and chase their tails. 

Along this lovely coastal stretch, you'll find The New Inn, an award-winning 16th-century family-run Inn with plenty of outdoor seating and a warm interior. 

The Sunday lunches here are not to be missed and there is a fantastic range of gins along with the usual pub tipples.
