The Royal Oak

Serving quality dishes in the heart of Saundersfoot, The Royal Oak is a firm favourite for visitors where well-behaved, socialised, and friendly dogs are welcome.

The outdoor space also welcomes dogs where you can grab a seat and enjoy amazing sea views right in the heart of this bustling seaside village. Indoors, you'll find a traditional pub welcome and dishes crafted from the finest seasonal produce.

The Mulberry Restaurant & Bar

The Mulberry Restaurant & Bar is a great choice for a special occasion and allows dogs, just phone ahead to secure your table and enjoy a fine meal in a warm welcoming space. 

Sit outdoors and watch the world go by with your furry friend and enjoy a refreshing drink and bite to eat from the lunchtime favourites. The Sunday lunches here are delicious and you'll leave feeling satisfyingly full. 

Evenings here are cosy and the menu offers mouth-watering options such as wild mushroom and spinach risotto; rolled shoulder of lamb with crushed new potatoes, ratatouille and jus; Rossini – 8oz fillet steak, topped with foie gras and a Madeira sauce, sauteed potatoes or chips, veg or salad; and slow cooked confit duck, sautéed potatoes, red cabbage and jus.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a fun friendly bar and restaurant with amazing cocktails and a delicious menu packed with dishes such as carbonara, burgers, lasagne, hunter's chicken and steak frites. 

There's a great beer garden out the back where you and your four-legged friend can also sit and eat a lovely lunch or evening meal.

The service is swift and weekends are lively with local bands keeping you entertained throughout the evening. The Boathouse is also a great spot for a daytime coffee and cake catch-up with friends.

Mamgu Welshcakes

For something sweet straight off the griddle then visit Mamgu Welshcakes on Saundersfoot Harbour. This dog-friendly cafe enjoys amazing views of the picturesque harbour and beyond onto Saundersfoot Beach and is the perfect pit stop after a refreshing dog walk.

You'll be spoilt for flavours; from traditional ones to coconut and chocolate and pumpkin spice, there's plenty to tickle the tastebuds. The Stone Crab

New Inn, Amroth

Amroth is a picturesque seaside village near Saundersfoot with a half-mile-long sandy beach with a huge expanse of sand at low tide so dogs can run around and chase their tails. 

Along this lovely coastal stretch, you'll find The New Inn, an award-winning 16th-century family-run Inn with plenty of outdoor seating and a warm interior. 

The Sunday lunches here are not to be missed and there is a fantastic range of gins along with the usual pub tipples.
