Wiseman's Bridge Beach
This area is wildly diverse, steeped in history with wonderful views and a vibrant atmosphere. Relax at the Wisemans Bridge Inn with its wonderful views of the glistening sea.
There are some fantastic walks here for you and your pup to enjoy. Dogs can run free all year-round on this dog-friendly Pembrokeshire beach before cooling off on the woodland walk from the beach to Stepaside.
There are also intriguing tunnels to explore and amazing views to be had on the old railway coastal walk from Wiseman’s Bridge to Saundersfoot. Stop off and refresh at the Coppet Hall Beach Centre along the way and enjoy more glorious sea views and dog-size treats.
When you’re done with the dog-friendly walks and beach fun then explore Saundersfoot with its pretty harbour, boutique shops and delicious dog-friendly restaurants. There’s also vibrant Tenby just waiting to be explored with its lovely local gift shops and fantastic places to eat.

Marloes Sands
This secluded hidden gem will delight your pup with its huge, wild expanse of sandy beach at low tide and stunning seascapes.
Marloes rocky outcrops will please all those after a coastal photo opportunity framed by towering cliff faces and intriguing rock pools for curious pups to explore.
There’s plenty of golden sand at low tide just waiting for cute paw prints to do their walk of fame and follow in the footsteps of stars. This beach has been used for a filmset in the Hollywood blockbuster Snow White and the Huntsman!

Broad Haven South & Bosherston Lily Ponds
This beautiful beach appears like an oasis waiting for you and your dog at the end of an amazing woodland walk across stone bridges around the gorgeous Bosherston Lily Ponds.
Enjoy this leisurely walk and follow the clear stream that empties out of the lily ponds and playfully runs along the beach.
Your dog will love splashing about here exploring the caves and springs that gush from out of the cliffs.

Caerfai Bay
Just a mile outside of gorgeous St Davids, the UK’s smallest city, Caerfai beach is a fantastic all-round beach for you and your four-legged pal to enjoy.
An idyllic spot for swimming and sunbathing, Caerfai is dog friendly all year round and you’ll be amazed by the pretty multicoloured rocks with their colourful mixture of vivid pink, grey and green.
There’s access via a steep winding path from the car park above the beach. It is so convenient that your pup will start to get excited sniffing the fresh sea breeze as soon as you park up.
There are plenty of rock pools for dogs to investigate and at low tide there’s plenty of space for a long game of fetch.
There are plenty of things to do in St Davids along with a fabulous range of St Davids restaurants.

Sandy Haven
The pretty hedge-lined walk down to this quaint beach is sure to build up your dog’s excitement levels before racing out onto the wide-open sandy space.
Sandy Haven is a sheltered estuary bay lying on a large inland creek that flows from the Milford Haven Waterway between Dale, St Ishmaels and Milford Haven.
There’s plenty of rock pools to keep any inquisitive pup happy for hours. At low tide, there’s a lovely stream with a crossing for excited pups to explore and splash about in. Little and big kids can also try a spot of crabbing from this crossing too.

Freshwater West
Another beach for your pup star! Freshwater West has appeared in multiple Hollywood blockbusters starring as the backdrop for Dobby’s Shell Cottage in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It also takes centre stage for a gang of galloping horses in Ridley Scott‘s Robin Hood!
Your dog can run free in the path of famous hooves while experienced surfers enjoy riding the waves at this popular Pembrokeshire surf spot.
If you can get your four-legged pal to pose for long enough to capture the perfect family snap, it’ll be framed by a gloriously long sandy stretch backed by extensive sandy dunes.

Barafundle Bay
One of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Barafundle Bay is a glistening gem in Pembrokeshire’s impressive crown.
Picture crystal clear water, sparkling soft sand, dramatic dunes, and wonderful woodland. Park up in nearby Stackpole and enjoy the spectacular stroll to this impressive sight.
The untouched natural beauty of Barafundle can be found at the end of a half-mile coastal clifftop walk. Pass through a picturesque stone arch down some steps down to this gorgeous gem.
This pristine remote spot doesn’t have any facilities. Be sure to pack up a picnic and all the essentials for your precious pooch and head down to Barafundle for a day to remember.

Newport Sands
Lap up the views from this huge dune-backed, sandy beach on the mouth of the River Nevern.
There are plenty of parking options in the village and there are also toilet facilities which all help make this an ideal location for dog-friendly families and water sports enthusiasts.
Newport Sands is also known as Traeth Mawr, or Big Beach, due to its impressive size! It’s a huge beach and there’s plenty of space for your dog’s adventures. Make sure to pack their favourite ball for a supersized game of fetch!
Once you’re done with all that space, head to one of the local dog-friendly eateries such as Cat Rock Cafe and take in the uninterrupted views across charming Cardigan Bay and the perfectly presented Preseli Hills.

Manorbier Beach
Overlooked by a magnificent castle, Manorbier Beach is an oh-so-pretty and unspoilt spot for walkies with your best furry friend!
Surrounded by cliffs and dunes, the dramatic landscape is extremely popular with walkers looking to head to the coast.
There are rock pools to discover and a shimmering stream for your excited pup to explore, along with delicious ice creams for owners to enjoy from the handy ice cream van.
Fresh doggy drinking water is available from the bathroom facilities so pack the lead and head out on your way to this doggy delight.

Abereiddy Beach
This small pebble beach has extraordinarily dark sand formed from ground grey slate and is full of tiny fossils!
The same slate gives the neighbouring picturesque Blue Lagoon its amazing turquoise colour. Nowadays, as a now flooded former slate quarry, it is a popular spot for coasteering, kayaking and diving.
Abereiddy is a secluded spot but a seasonal kiosk can be found in the car park selling ice creams and refreshments. If paddling with your pooch, then be aware of the strong currents.
Visit pretty Porthgain nearby for some fantastically fresh local seafood and a lovely harbour walk.
