1. Rhossili Bay Beach

2. Three Cliffs Bay Beach
One of the most photographed places in Gower, Three Cliffs Bay is a visual treat.
This wide bay of glorious golden sand and gently sloping dunes is just lovely. The three summits of limestone headland hint at the naming of this pretty place.
With strong currents and tides, swimming and water sports are not recommended so pack a picnic and soak up the spectacular views, or take a stroll with your four-legged friend who is allowed on the beach all year round.

3. Oxwich Bay Beach
Wonderful Oxwich Bay Beach is a great family beach with plenty of sand, sea and space for everyone, including dogs all year round! Take a look at our dog-friendly Gower cottages for more puptastic holiday inspiration.
Parking is directly on the beachfront at the western end, while the eastern part is quieter with a 20-minute walk from the nearest car park. Stroll past the dunes to walk out onto acres of golden sand and enjoy the incredible view back towards Three Cliffs Bay.
You can also enjoy some fine dining right on the soft golden sands at the Beach House Restaurant and take a trip to pretty Oxwich village with its delightful thatched cottages and castles.

4. Caswell Bay Beach
Claiming both a Blue Flag and Seaside Award, Caswell Bay Beach is a popular Gower beach with both families and water sports enthusiasts.
Acres of golden sands, cafes and shops make Caswell one of Gower’s most popular beaches.
If you fancy stretching your legs, then take a stroll along the magnificent Gower Coast Path that continues west from here.

5. Langland Bay Beach
Award-winning Langland Bay Beach is a huge sandy beach with a few intriguing rock pools at low tide. An ideal Gower beach for families due to its great facilities.
There’s a pretty promenade lined with bright green and white beach huts, framing a picture-perfect holiday snap.
Just a short walk over the hill from Mumbles, Langland is one of the UK’s most beautiful city beaches.

6. Port Eynon Beach
Port Eynon is another of Gower’s most popular beaches. It is accessible, safe and sandy and is backed by spectacular sand dunes.
Once you’re done exploring the rock pools, dust the sand from your toes and browse the seaside shops at your leisure.

7. Llangennith Beach
Popular with surfers due to its westerly location that picks up Atlantic swells and big waves, this brilliant beach is also family and dog-friendly all year round! If you fancy a spot of surfing then take a look at our guide to Gower surfing for more splashing information.
Lined by extensive sand dunes, Llangennith feels pretty wild and is home to world-class scenery showcasing some of nature’s best finds. Just look south towards the imposing Worm’s Head jutting out of the seabed.
The fun doesn’t stop at the beach though: explore Llangennith village with all of its rural charm and laid-back vibes. Refresh and grab a bite to eat at the fantastic local pub.

8. Tor Bay Beach
Shaped like a horseshoe, Tor Bay is a large sheltered stretch of lovely sandy beach
Quieter than its neighbours, Three Cliffs Bay and Oxwich Bay Beach, and separated by the towering Great Tor headlands, Tor Bay Beach is a great find for those looking for something a little more deserted.
Take a walk with your pup and enjoy the 20-minute scramble to this beach from the parking in Penmaen village.

9. Pobbles Bay Beach
Surrounded by limestone cliffs and sand dunes, Pobbles Bay is a secluded little cove on the eastern side of Three Cliffs Bay.
With some of the most beautiful views in the Gower Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on a clear day enjoy a picnic and the memorable views all the way over to Oxwich.
Enjoy even more views with your four-legged friend on the half-mile route down to pretty Pobbles Bay Beach.

10. Blue Pool Bay
This pretty and remote bay is one of Gower's most secluded and quietest beaches, thanks to being accessible only on foot from Broughton Bay, just under a mile away.
The “Three Chimneys” lie on the other side of the bay, an amazing and naturally formed series of spectacular sea arches.
The Blue Pool, which gives this beach its name, is a supersized natural tidal rock pool that is up to 5 metres across and 8 metres deep at high tide!
