A pretty lodge on the outskirts of New Quay, this delightful property makes a fantastic holiday home for couples or a family seeking an idyllic break along Cardigan Bay. Offering cosy, fresh and welcoming accommodation for four guests, this light and stylish wooden cabin is part of a charming complex of properties with a shared children’s play area and a clubhouse with a pub/restaurant. Featuring a relaxing decked area perfect for dining alfresco, this cheerful and breezy lodge is a fabulous base for exploring the picturesque countryside, quaint villages and stunning coastlines of this lovely part of Ceredigion.

A few steps lead up onto the decked area and through French doors into this stylish, fresh and airy lodge. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a wonderful living space, with the cosy lounge making an ideal space to sit back, watch a movie or chat late into the night. The dining area is perfect for gathering and enjoying a favourite family meal which you can prepare in the fully equipped kitchen. Exploring this bright and relaxing lodge further, there are two peaceful bedrooms: a twin and an en-suite king-size room, along with a handy shower room. Heading outside, the charming and furnished decked area offers a pleasant space to unwind in the afternoon with a glass or two of wine. Children can let off steam in the shared play area, and you will also have access to the site’s clubhouse and shop.

As well as a range of great pubs and restaurants, New Quay (2 miles) is home to a couple of lovely beaches, the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre and a fascinating Dylan Thomas Trail. Local attractions include New Quay Honey Farm (2 miles), the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron (7 miles), Cae Hir Gardens (9.5 miles) and the National Wool Museum (15 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lodge was really nice and clean very comfortable every mod con you could need for your holiday a real home from home!!!. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone whos looking for a peaceful place to go.

Lovely quiet site, a short drive or 30 minute walk to New Quay. Site under renovation but no work going on during our stay. Lodge was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend to others

We had a wonderful week at this lodge which is tastefully and comfortably furnished. It has all the mod cons that you could possibly want such as dishwasher, washing machine, flat screen TV etc. There is a lovely verandah for sitting out and enjoying lunch/dinner outside. This was our second stay at Y Caban and it didnt disappoint. A lovely clean, comfortable and well equipped Lodge situated on a well maintained and quiet woodland site - perfect for exploring the surrounding area and the breathtaking beaches. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely wonderful!! Lovely holiday home, with really helpful and lovely owner. Would highly recommend! Only used Woodys takeaway service on the last day, but wished Id used them sooner!! Breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious.

Absolutely lovely Lodge lots of extra little touches. Very well equipped and clean. Seemed like a quiet but very dog friendly park. We loved the woodland walk. Highly recommend.

This beautiful lodge felt like nobody had ever stayed in it before! It was beautifully kitted out and cared for and had everything we needed and more! I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing showers with excellent water pressure and the storage space in the bedroom.
