This beautiful cottage is perfectly located, for walkers and beach lovers alike, set within a rural location and yet only a short distance from the dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline.

Head to this holiday home set on a working farm near Ratford Bridge, 2.5 miles from Broad Haven, and savour your proximity to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, beautiful beaches and the historic town of Haverfordwest. The three-bedroom cottage, which sleeps up to five guests and welcomes one very happy hound, is also in a great location for anyone eager to indulge in country walks or to simply relax and take in far-reaching, countryside views from the private garden.

Stroll into the semi-detached property via the hall, where you can leave your outerwear. Make your way on through into the lounge to settle down in front of the TV or to choose a DVD, while the wood burner crackles invitingly nearby. Take a step down into the beamed kitchen/diner to find all the equipment you need to help you prepare tasty holiday feasts. Open the door on to the garden in here on warm days. Head upstairs to find the family bathroom, a king-size room with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins in advance, a double bedroom and a single. Soak up the sunshine in the enclosed garden, which has a summer house. Find parking for two cars at the cottage.

Gather your beach gear together and drive just under 3 miles to reach Broad Haven, where you can swim in the sea and relax on the sand. Little Haven, also 3 miles away, will also suit beach lovers. This sandy and rocky inlet is also a popular place to boat as it has a slipway. The vibrant seaside town of Tenby, 20 miles away, might also be ideal for a day trip for those looking for lively shopping areas and plenty of restaurant choice. The castle town of Pembroke, 11 miles away, also has much to offer.

We had a another great stay at the Diary at Solbury. The location is great for visiting the various beaches and coastlines of Pembrokeshire.

We had a marvellous stay. The delightful cottage was fully equipped for self- catering and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring the nearby beaches and well- suited for dog owners. Excellent place, highly recommended.

A lovely well appointed cottage in great rural location. Had everything we needed, washing line was great for drying beach towels! Be careful if tall, couple of places husband (6'3") banged his head due to lots of different levels, but it is an old cottage so to be expected! A lovely holiday, thanks.

Lovely stay. Dave the owner was very helpful and friendly, and the house had everything we needed The local beaches are only a 10 minute drive away and are great. Plenty to do in the area, especially if you like castles and walking, plus most attractions are dog friendly.

Great place to stay to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. Close to Haverfordwest for amenities but also very well located to get away from it all at Dale or Martins Head. Would recommend.

Fantastic place. We stayed at the dairy. It had everything we needed, the accommodation was spotless; the bedrooms are roomy the kitchen/diner is spacious, very well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Log burner in the lounge! There's also a lovely little garden you can watch the world from. The location is great, 8 mins from HaverfordRead morewest and close to local beaches. Plenty of free activities in the form of walks and parks, also close to paid sites; like Oakwood and Folly Farm. Hide

We loved it here! Fab house with everything you need for a holiday. Local to lots of beaches and close to lots of towns. Its in a perfect spot. Lovely cottage in a lovely spot. Well equipped, maybe a couple of comfy chairs outside would be a good idea and fly screens at the door as they were a nuisance. Lovely owners friendly but not intrusive Nice place to relax and great for visiting local areas

We had a lovely holiday and the cottage was well equipped. Great host and easy to contact. Plenty of space for beach gear and the summer house was a real bonus. Location is great as you are on the main road to lots of different places for days out.

The cottage and its surroundings were beautiful. The cottage itself was clean and perfectly spacious for our family. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of space, with a big dining table and chairs. The living room had comfortable sofas and a large TV. The fireplace was a treat.
