Location
Quaretdeck is set in probably one of the best locations in Pembrokeshire over looking Tenby Harbour, a great choice for taking holidays in Wales. Tenby, South Pembrokeshire's largest town, offers splendid Victorian and Georgian architecture set within Tudor town walls. Tenby's roots date back to the time of the Norman conquest when the county was invaded and colonised in around 1093. Much of the medieval castle walls, built by the Pembrokeshire Earls in 1264 to fortify the town from the Welsh rebellion, have survived intact to the present day. It is perched dramatically on a rocky promontory and boasts award winning Blue Flag status for the white sandy beaches. There is a picturesque harbour with busy boats ferrying people to the monastic island of Caldey or taking out families for fishing trips, lush Mediterranean-style vegetation and charming narrow streets packed with shops, galleries and restaurants. In the summer, the centre of Tenby is transformed into a 'cafe culture' centre, with no traffic allowed within the town walls. The restaurants and public houses take full advantage of this and you can relax wining and dining in the middle of Tudor Square, watching holidaymakers bustle to and fro. Perfect location for Ironman Wales ,The Long Course Weekend ,Tenby , Tenby Arts Festival and Tenby Blues Festival.

glad to new front door double bed must be falling apart every time you move makes loud noises hot water dangerously hot foot stool in living room needed over last four getting tired
FBM Holidays response
Sorry to hear you were disappointed in Quarterdeck this year Mrs Chedzy. This is the first feedback we've had about the double bed so have passed that on to the owner. As you know, Quarterdeck is one of our most popular properties and, as such, is subject to a lot of wear and tear. Being booked all the time, there is no opportunity for the owners to get in between bookings. However, they have blocked it off for a period this winter to do some refreshing and to address anything that needs attention. Carol

Beautiful location right on the beach and walking distance to everything else. Really nicely decorated with everything you might need for a break - only thing missing is a wardrobe with hanging space (chest of drawers only) but there were plenty of hangers and hooks in the hall.

Stunning position but let down by various items that needed attention - dripping tap (in a combined kitchen living room), curtains coming off the rails in one bedroom, paint peeling in another. Equivelant properties we have stayed in elsewhere have not shown the level of ‘tiredness’ that was apparent here. Above all if a property is to be let with the benefit of central heating it should work. Excuses that it’s a ‘specialist job’ (if you choose an electric boiler it will be!!!), or that it’s the fault of a contractor who has been called but failed to appear, are quite inexcusable.
FBM Holidays response
Unfortunately, the lack of service the owner experienced from the company who services the boiler was beyond their control. Normally, we can get a boiler sorted within a few hours unless a part is required, of course. In this case, the owner did all he could, but was let down by the service provider. the heating had ben working the week before. Quarterdeck is one of the most popular properties FBM Holidays lets, so after being fully booked almost all year, there is no opportunity for decorating. The owner does attend to the property in January/February every year.

The location is wonderful, this is right on the harbour. Quiet, peaceful with sea views yet close enough to be within a stone's throw of the town.

Excellent location. Good heating system, just felt there was a couple of maintenance things that need to be addressed eg front door has a gap when it shuts, plaster/paint in 2nd bedroom needs sorting and bathroom shower hose needs changing as it was leaking really badly.
We really enjoyed the holiday.
