Take a romantic getaway in this shepherd’s hut in Narberth. Somewhere between glamping and a retreat in a studio, you’ll find this quirky and unconventional property, which has everything two people need for some quality time together. You’ll be staying on a farm, with the opportunity to help yourself to vegetables and enjoy the company of free-range chickens.
The hut is divided into two rooms. The main portion is a living space with a kitchenette, a lounge, a diner and a bedroom in one. You’ll have storage space under the double bed, and the area is warmed by an electric fire for a cosy feeling. The decor is cute and eclectic, but not overwhelming, and the curved wooden ceiling matches the floor. You’ll get plenty of natural light through the glass patio doors, and if you’d like a little privacy, there are full length curtains for you to use. To one end of the hut, you’ll see a separate WC and shower room. Step outside onto the terrace, which overlooks some neighbouring fields. You can dine alfresco here on the outdoor furniture using the BBQ, and when the sun sets, you’ll be able to see the incredible night sky.
You’ll be staying in a remote location, 3 miles away from the nearest town. Narberth is a historic place with plenty of stories as well as convenient amenities. For castle ruins and legends, visit Llawhaden Castle, 6.5 miles away, which was a residence for wealthy bishops in the 14th century. You’ll be close to the coast, which has lots of areas for walks and water sports. Telpyn Beach is 7.5 miles away and is great for swimming.
