Make your way into the character cottage, with its revealed stone walls and timber beams. Find yourselves in the lounge area of an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle down in here in front of your favourite film on TV, read your book or chat about your plans for the following day. The sofa here can become a double bed if necessary. Amble on through into the kitchen area to prepare delicious dinners for two and to dine together at the table. Open the French doors in here to wander outside. At the end of each wonderful day, indulge in a hot shower in the shower room before heading on through to the king-size bedroom, where there are more doors out on to the patio. Pour yourself a cool drink to sip outside on warm evenings while you gaze out over your scenic surroundings. Have your first cup of tea of the day out here too and perhaps even breakfast.
Follow the Welsh Coast Path from Pen-clawdd to Rhossili. This spectacular 18.5-mile route offers some incredible sea and landscapes. Split the route by stopping at Llanmadoc if you wish. Choose between the Gower’s plethora of fabulous beaches if you enjoy swimming or surfing. Try Llangennith, 10 miles away, Caswell, 8 miles from your base, or Oxwich Bay, some distance of 10 miles.
