Explore the magnificent scenery of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales from this two-bedroom, holiday home for four at Pen-clawd. Enjoy long walks through beautiful countryside, go swimming and surfing on picturesque beaches and plan days out to the vibrant city of Swansea. Return to the single-storey cottage, which is one of several on the site and could suit a small family, to unwind in the shared hot tub.

Make your way into this bright Welsh holiday home. Wander in to find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can spread out, relax and watch the TV/DVD. Find the kitchen has everything you need to prepare homecooked holiday fare. Dine together at the table inside or out on the patio. Head through to either the double bedroom or the bunk bedroom at the end of each day at the property. Find there is a family shower room at the cottage. Soak up the glorious Welsh sunshine in the morning. Have breakfast out here while you plan the day’s activities. Find parking for one car at the holiday home.

Plan days out to the Gower’s beautiful beaches. Try Langland Bay, 9 miles away, Caswell, 8 miles from the cottage, or Three Cliffs Bay, 7.5 miles away. Visit Cefn Bryn a 5-mile-long ridge of land, with scenic views, which is known as the backbone of Gower and is close to the famous site of Arthur’s Stone. Find numerous trails and footpaths across the peninsula and follow a section of the Welsh Coast Path if you choose. Head 8 miles into Swansea to spend time browsing in the shops or to dine out. Go to the cinema or theatre while you are here. Drive 9 miles to Mumbles to have an ice-cream or fish and chips and to walk along the pier.

  • A booking system and rota will be present for the shared hot tub, the utility room and the various outdoor games will be available per cottage
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Absolutely lovely stay, beautiful surroundings with great access to all the amazing beaches and sites the Gower has to offer. Hosts were brilliant at suggesting exactly where to go whatever the weather and all the facilities, hottub, bbq, kids outdoor play toys were perfect. Thanks so much for making our holiday so lovely.

Clean and very well positioned in a truly beautiful part of Wales. Lyns welcomed us personally and explained how to navigate. The welcome book was informative and we got a.glimpse into our hosts humour. We would give the location and hosts 10 out of 10

Our stay here was delightful. Accommodation was clean, spacious and our hosts were delightful. The hosts provided a detailed list of activities and locations of interest prior to our stay which was so helpful and in addition they were on site to speak to directly.
