This lovely, well-presented property on a quiet close in Saundersfoot, with lots of living space and a super garden, has everything for a group or family who want to have a wonderful seaside holiday. The house is less than 0.5 miles from the centre of the large coastal village, which has three gorgeous beaches, a working harbour and lots of shops, pubs, and restaurants to visit and treat yourself in. Spend the day sunbathing on one of the beaches or have a go at a new water sport. Embark on a sea safari to learn about the local wildlife from the harbour ¬or discover some beauty spots off the beaten track on a chauffeured tuk-tuk tour ¬– they’ll even pick you up from the door. Explore the stunning local area by heading out along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path; Tenby is a 4.5-mile walk in one direction and Amroth is 5.5 miles in the other. There’s beautiful scenery and wildlife in both directions so remember to take a camera. For a spot of culture, get inspired at Laugharne (12.5 miles away) where Dylan Thomas lived and wrote Under Milk Wood, or visit Pembroke Castle (11 miles drive), the birthplace of Henry VII and enjoy a free tour or watch one of the numerous events that take place there throughout the year.

The house is set back from the road on a large individual plot and opens up to a hallway. There’s a lovely large and comfortable living room with lots of space to relax in front of the TV and electric fire. The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook up a great meal, then you can enjoy your creation in the dining area, which is in the light and sunny conservatory with views over the garden. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a double, a twin and a single, all with warm, homely décor. The large family bathroom is perfect for washing off the sand after a day on the beach.

There’s lots of space at the front with a lawn and driveway. The back garden is an oasis for relaxation with a large patio area with a table and chairs, pretty planting, and a separate lawn - you’ll want to spend as much time as possible outdoors.

We enjoyed our property and aside for the hills the property was a comfortable walk to the shops and beach. The property had a good range of appliances to use, and was largely comfortable. However the property seemed tired. There were lots of smaller things that required repair and the double and twin room mattresses werent particularly comfortableRead more with what felt and sounded like old springs. The single bedroom curtain pole was almost hanging off and there was a blood stain on one of the pillows. Also, a lot of the blinds were broken and in the master bedroom a couple were missing. Also, in the kitchen the drawers wouldnt close properly. No towels were left out for guests even though they were included. Instead these were found just thrown in the bathroom cupboard. I have photos if required. It just seemed the house didnt quite live up to expectations given the cost paid. Hide
