This property is a lovely barn conversion in the same complex as two other holiday cottages, located in a rural spot around 3 miles from Saundersfoot and its golden sands. Sleeping six guests in three rooms on two storeys, it can house a larger family or extended group of family and friends, especially as the other cottages can be hired too for a much bigger gathering. Tenby and Saundersfoot are calling with their amusements, independent shops and beaches. Tenby is 6 miles. There are many other coves, bays and beaches to explore along this Pembrokeshire coastline, too. Visit the castles – in varying states of preservation – at Tenby (5.8 miles), Carew (5.5 miles) and Pembroke (9.2 miles) to get a taste of Welsh history. Or if it’s a day for the children, head just 2.4 miles to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, 5.3 miles to Oakwood Theme Park or 3.8 miles to Manor Wildlife Park.

The welcoming lounge has comfortable seating and a stylish wood burner in the corner. If you want to self-cater and eat indoors, there’s a foldaway dining table too and rustic latch-style wooden doors. The wooden stairs go from here, and there’s also a door to access the exterior space. The attractive kitchen is modern, with everything you need – whether you’re cooking full meals or just snacks which you can eat at the attractive three-seater breakfast bar. The ground-floor accommodation is finished with a shower room and WC and one double bedroom – perfect for older members of the family? The lovely double bedroom feels really spacious with its extravagant vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, Velux window letting in even more light and wooden floorboards. With the crisp, calm decor it’s the perfect mix of old and new. There’s a cot in here too. The twin room is a really welcoming space with lovely beams, floorboards and quaint low-level window. Perfect for a nap any time! They share a bathroom with bath, WC and yet more beams to gaze at as you soak.

Usher in the day over a cuppa at a bistro table for two outside the property, otherwise there are shared communal areas with garden furniture.

We stayed in the cottage for a week, there were two other cottages adjoining, which at varying times we occupied so we were able to see and communicate with the property owners three days out of the seven.

The location of this beautiful cottage is excellent. Felt very private and within easy reach to various locations on the Pembrokeshire coastline. A real delight looking out for the owl in the barn opposite the cottage. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

As above "This is my first complaint ever. This cottage is next to a very busy A-road. Two of the window latches were broken so you couldn't open them at all. When you put up the dining table there was very little space in the dining room."
