Tucked away in the friendly village of New Hedges, between Saundersfoot and Tenby, the cottage is the ideal base for enjoying the coast and everything Pembrokeshire has to offer. It’s on a quiet cul-de-sac with easy access to the village’s amenities, which include a pub, Post Office, children’s playground, and a handy shop. Set out from the front door to explore the area on foot on the coastal path (just 1 mile away) with gorgeous beaches a 1.5-mile walk in either direction: Tenby to the south and Saundersfoot to the north. Take a tour of the coastline from Tenby Harbour around to Caldey Island, home to Cistercian monks who make chocolate and perfumes, and stock up on some souvenirs to take home. Soak up some of Tenby’s local history with a visit to the 13th-century castle walls (a 2-mile walk or 2.5-mile drive) and the impressive Five Arches Gate. Or if you end up in Saundersfoot, why not have a go at a new water sport on Saundersfoot Beach, or just relax and enjoy the town’s harbour, shops, and ice cream kiosks?

The quaint bungalow has step-free access to the front door, which opens onto the hall. The lovely, south-facing living room is a great space for relaxing, with leather sofas, a TV and DVD player. There’s a well-equipped kitchen/diner with a dining table and chairs for four so everyone can get together at mealtimes. The property is perfect for a small family, with two bedrooms, a light, bright double room, and a separate bedroom with a single bed. Finally, there’s a family bathroom for everyone to use.

Patio doors lead out from the living room to the secluded patio area at the rear of the house – it’s a lovely, quiet spot to enjoy a morning coffee or eat alfresco as the sun goes down.

New Hedges is a quiet and very well placed village where the cottage is located. The cottage was cosy and very homely. It is perfectly placed for Tenby and Saundersfoot by car and foot in a 30mins walk. Behind the Village Hall there is an excellent playground. There is also a Morrisons a stone's throw from the cottage.

The property is small, but plenty of room for the two of us. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Handily placed for Tenby and its surrounding beaches.

Brambly Hedge is on a quiet residential street with parking (& electric car charging point), although it is beside a main road I was surprised at how little that bothered us (was fine for sleeping). It is a bit cramped in the main bedroom but is well equipped for your stay having all you would need. WiFi included but the TV is a bit hit & miss...Read more. (Needed for the couple of rainy days we had) I feel it is a bit neglected, shabby in places & needs a deep clean in the bathroom/lounge & garden needs some attention. The property is very close to a Morrisons Local shop & the Hunter's Moon pub/restaurant (highly recommend). Bus stop close by. The village hall nearby has a makers market/car boot sale on a Wednesday which is nice for picking up little handmade gifts, etc. The bungalow is in a good location to get to local beaches in Tenby & Saundersfoot or further afield. The welcome pack is a nice touch Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. Weve spoken to the owner and the issues has now been resolved. New garden furniture has been installed. Hide

Although a little cramped in the kitchen and main bedroom, the cottage is clean and well equipped for a short stay for 2 or 3 people. It suited us as a base for exploring Pembrokeshire by bicycle. Particular benefits are: a Morrisons convenience store close by, 40 minute walk by coastal path into Tenby and, if you have an electric car, a charging pRead moreoint. Hide

The property was clean enough inside and the beds and sofas were all comfortable. The kitchen equipment was pretty basic - no covered pyrex dishes to cook a good, plain roast dinner. They did have an air fryer which was a welcome addition. The garden lacked a bit of TLC. On a positive note, the bungalow is in a good location to get to local beacheRead mores and attractions. Overall we enjoyed our week there after overcoming a few problems Hide
