This self contained cottage, which is attached to the owners house, is located in the small hamlet of Llangloffan, near Castlemorris, a small village in rural North Pembrokeshire known for its idyllic quiet, yet perfectly poised to take in the beautiful, jagged coastline found above the Landsker Line. Along with a multitude of sandy beaches, the coastline is rich in local history. The water inlets at Abercastle (4.5 miles) are ideal for walkers, swimmers, and fishing vessels to access the water or head to Abereiddy (7.5 miles) and dive into the famous 'Blue Lagoon' before stopping off for lunch at Porthgain. Call into Melin Tregwynt woollen mill for breakfast and pick up a traditional Welsh blanket on your walk to Abermawr (2.5 miles) - a true Welsh cottage staple. The cottage is ideally positioned between Fishguard (5.5 miles) and St Davids (11 miles), offering you the chance to sample some of the best cafes and restaurants in Pembrokeshire or visit the historical landmark that is St Davids' cathedral.

As you enter the cottage, you are immediately welcomed into a warm and comfortable lounge. There are two comfortable sofas and an armchair centred around the cosy wood burner – perfect to curl up after a day of exploring the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside. There's a Smart TV with Freesat package, plus a DVD player and Bluetooth speaker to keep you entertained or get stuck into one of the many books the owners have provided. The dining room is adjacent to the lounge and has a table for six plus a window seat overlooking the garden, offering a perfect space for a cup of tea and book. The contemporary country kitchen sits next to the lounge with a large open hatch making this an excellent social space to prepare meals whilst still being involved with the other guests in your party. The whole ground floor benefits from underfloor heating. Head on upstairs and you will find three double bedrooms. The master bedroom is serviced by an en-suite shower room and all bedrooms have been equipped with storage and furniture in-keeping with the property’s modern, country charm. Completing the first floor is the generously proportioned family bathroom with bath, walk-in shower cubicle and WC.

Externally, there is a patio terrace with an outdoor dining table and charcoal BBQ to enjoy dining al fresco or a cool drink in the sun. The garden looks out towards the countryside and you may even spot a herd of cows in the adjacent field. There is a large lawn area for children and dogs to run around on plus a climbing frame – ideal for smaller children. The garden is fenced, but please note that it is livestock fencing which small dogs may well get through, so please keep dogs supervised at all times. There is also a pretty meadow which will attract an abundance of wildlife to admire when in bloom. Please note that the driveway is narrow and can only accommodate parking for 2 cars.

  • 3 bedrooms – 2 doubles, 1 zip-and-link twin (can be made up as king-size on request)

The Manse was our home from home for my husband and I plus three teenagers. Very pretty interior in a lovely rural hamlet. So warm and toasty when we arrived.. The dogs had never had it so good! The local basket of produce was excellent touch, all delicious. artisan bread and local milk and butter. Everything was quality from the wood burner to theRead more coffee machine to the beds. We really enjoyed coming home after a day of local coast path walking in nov'. Hot baths and really good showers. Hide

This was a lovely, well equipped house in a beautiful, quiet and secluded location. We had a great stay and the owners were lovely people. They were always on hand if needed but never intrusive.

An excellent place to stay with good access to the Pembrokeshire coast. Fishguard and Newport great places to visit with excellent places to eat lovely fresh seafood. The parking not for those lacking confidence in their driving abilities but space in lay-by nearby. A lovely house with v helpful hosts next door.
