For families and friends looking for a seaside getaway on the Welsh coast, this quirky cottage is an excellent choice. Boasting a charming garden area to sit and soak up the atmosphere, as well as a roll top bathtub for relaxing evenings with a little peace, there’s something to please all guests. Tenby itself has plenty on offer, with four blissful beaches, all within a mile of each other, where you can build sand castles or try your hand at a surf lesson before stopping off for a delectable ice cream on the way back to your cottage.

Filled with Victorian charm, the first of the two living rooms is filled with thoughtful details to ensure you feel instantly at home. Exposed black beams along the ceiling, pretty shutters on the windows and a characterful gas fire add to the ambience of the space, whilst the second reception room is slightly smaller, filled with games and toys to entertain your loved ones with in the evenings. The open-plan kitchen/diner seamlessly blends the old with the new, with a sleek galley-style kitchen and a rustic kitchen table seating six for mealtimes. All three bedrooms share a similar style of decor with a subtle nod to their coastal location in the pretty decor. At the back and front of the cottage you’ll find outdoor areas with a peaceful patio area and a quaint summerhouse which offers an idyllic location to hide away in with a good book.

Lovers of the sea could embrace the opportunity to head out on the water from Tenby Harbour with a wildlife watching boat trip, or an excursion over to the fascinating Caldey Island. For children, a trip inland to Manor Wildlife Park (3 miles) for a walking safari is sure to be a crowd pleaser where you can feed an array of animals and experience their diverse habitats. The Dinosaur Park (3 miles) is another brilliant option offering a peak into prehistoric times with plenty for both children and adults to do.

Lovely cottage, great location, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The back garden doesn't work great for dogs as it's unsecured at the top and no there's back garden furniture, though there is a nice garden at the front by the river across the street.

The cottage itself was lovely, it was comfortable and had everything needed. We also were very pleased we were able to take our 3 dogs with us. The items mentioned are more about the housekeeping of the cottage, the attention to details in the upkeep of the place. Many thanks for the stay

Lovely stay at Duck View Cottage, great set-up and location ... easy walking access to beach , town etc yet quiet with no 'through' traffic. (Note - up hill for those with walking issues) Parking - a fabulous plus for central Tenby!

The location was fabulous convenient for restaurants and the beach and so quiet at night a great night sleep was had by all for the entire week. Parking at the cottage is so great to have as its rare in Tenby. I will definitely be returning next year.

Fantastic home, so much space and it catered for everyone. The little garden across from the house was lovely to sit in and watch the ducks in the river. Everything was of a high standard. Booked a week for next year already

Lovely cosy cottage, Perfect for us and our dog. A short walk from the centre. Weather was very wet and windy but we still had a brilliant week. Would stay here again as it had everything we needed.

A beautiful cottage, very well presented and very clean. This was our second visit and really enjoyed our stay. Six adults and two medium dogs accommodated with ease. Having three parking spaces makes this property a jewel. We can go out and return and park without any parking worries. We have young dogs, so the rear garden is tricky due to low fenRead moreces and walls to the rooves to the properties. Older or smaller dogs would be fine. The front garden is also lovely for peaceful picnics. Hide

A lovely cottage, warm and comfortable, home from home. Good location with easy access to beaches and the town. We love Tenby and have been coming for 50years staying at a variety of apartments and cottages. Duck View has the advantage of a pretty front garden where ducks and swans can be seen passing by on the stream.

Duck View Cottage is well equipped, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. Whilst it enjoys a quiet location with no through traffic and its own three car park spaces it is only a ten minute walk from the town centre. Sainsburys Supermarket is a five minute walk away. An ideal holiday home.
