A great spot for families with young children and dogs, this welcoming chalet sleeps five over two bedrooms. Just 0.5 miles from the beach, you can spend your day in the sand, sea and surf before returning to relax and unwind in this pretty lodge. If little ones have any energy left to spare, there is a fabulous play area for fun-filled evenings.

Ascend steps to the decked area and head inside to settle in. The open-plan living space is perfect for families and great for socialising. Either cook up a storm in the small kitchen area or keep the designated chef company and take a seat on the sofa. After dining together at the table or enjoying an al fresco feast outside, switch on the TV/DVD and unwind in the lounge space where bright features liven up the calm ambience created by neutral tones. Drift off in the double bedroom or in the family room which has one single bed and a set of bunk beds suitable for children. There is a children’s play area and picnic space (shared with other chalets on-site), and across the road is easy access to the cove and pub. There is parking available too.

Spend your day on the beach at Nolton Haven (0.5 miles) and bask in the sun or make a splash and head in for a surf. It’s also a great spot for horse riding and fishing so there are many ways to keep guests of all ages entertained. If you fancy a different vantage point of the sea, harness up the dog and tread the Pembrokeshire Coast Path where you can hunt out cliff-top picnic spots. For a night out away from the kitchen, visit the local pub or make the 7-mile trip to Haverfordwest.

Really lovely location with quick access on foot to nearby beach at Nolton Haven and coastal path for walking. Some terrific beaches nearby in Druidstone and Newgale. Some excellent viewing points on the coastal path for sunsets. Cottage was comfortable with all required amenities and provisions, not found wanting for anything. Good shower and verRead moreanda with table and furniture was most welcome given the hot weather during our stay with lovely sun trap particularly in the morning. Dogs welcome with site rules stating dogs must be on lead. Make sure you take an extendable lead for the dog so it can be tethered to the veranda whilst sitting outside or with doors open so it does not wander as per site rules. Cost for 5 night stay very reasonably priced. All in all a good quiet location and base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastal area, walks and activities. Nice welcome gift left by owners. Would happily return. Hide

This was a great last minute find for our family of 3, plus dog. A bit early in the season for camping and we wanted some creature comforts. The place was spotless and well equipped. Lots of board games too which is a nice touch, as were the lovely biscuits. Nolton Haven itself was perfect for a quiet beach getaway and access to the coastal path.

Overall a great little place. We had a couple of issues with getting the oven going, and the terrestrial TV, but overall well-equipped, clean and welcoming. We booked the place as it had EV chargers on site, a bit more info on how to get those going might have been helpful, there didn't seem to be any info within the chalet itself.

We just spent a wonderful week here with our 3 kids. There were lots of games and the Wii was a big hit. The cottage is really well stocked with everything you'd need, and being a short walk from a lovely cove beach was great. There are also other beautiful beaches a few minutes drive away. We highly recommend it, and we will certainly be back! agaRead morein. Hide

Property was very nicely presented on arrival and the biscuits and elderflower were appreciated. The cottage had everything we needed for the week. The expanding table is very clever! Nice to have some games for a rainy day. Fantastic location for a short walk to a beautiful sandy cove with more excellent beaches nearby drive away
