Offering sublime views over Cardigan Bay, this elegant detached house between Aberaeron and New Quay is a fabulous accommodation option if you’re looking for somewhere to host a special celebration, team-building event - or just a good old-fashioned family escape to the seaside. Sleeping 12 people across six bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, it’s the ideal place to get everyone together to relax and reconnect. Spend your days dolphin-spotting in Cardigan Bay and your evenings watching the stars coming out as you take a well-deserved soak in the hot tub.

Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming reception area. Make your way through to the farmhouse-style kitchen, cook up a storm and host dinner around the kitchen table or in the more formal dining room. Alternatively, head outside and dine alfresco on the patio. After dinner, take a dip in the private hot tub, or head indoors to relax by the open fire in the elegant living room. When the day is done, you’ll find a family wing with two spacious en suite bedrooms (one with additional futon available), and a bunk bedroom on the ground-floor, and a further three lovely en suite bedrooms on the first-floor (one double room has additional futon and 5’ junior bed if required).

Check out the wonderful harbour and cosy eateries in Aberaeron (2 miles), an exceptionally picturesque town with a delightful pastel colour palette of Georgian houses. Nearby New Quay (5.5 miles) is a quintessential seaside village, offering an array of restaurants, shops and sandy beaches. Take a boat trip to see the pods of dolphins who often spend their summer in the bay. Or headfor Llanerchaeron (3.5 miles), a National Trust property that has remained mostly unchanged since the 1700s.

Outside of property/garden unkempt and needed a lot of maintenance. Inside carpets and sofas needed cleaning and been sometime since cushions removed and sofa bases hoovered. Very tired in most areas and pillows/mattresses need updating. Such a shame as the space inside and out is ideal for a large family/friends gathering. Huge property, ideal for large family/group gatherings. A little tired in some areas. In December we did not use the outside at all. Very convenient - on the coast road for access north and south though the entrance is initially awkward. WiFi good, plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery and appliances. Suggest you bring mugs if you like a big cuppa!

A smashing family house, we brought our Daughters' families, eight of us and the grandchildren were very happy with loads of room to explore and play hide and seek. The property was well equipped, there were lovely views and easily accessible local amenities. My wife has mobility issues but with good ground floor accessibility for usual needs, therRead moree was no problem. Our 7 year old grandson was first to say "I like it here" a real seal of approval and we would most certainly recommend booking. Hide

We had a lovely week at Cardigan Bay House. The house was lovely and warm and well equipped for 11 guests. We stayed over Christmas and, after asking, a lovely tree was provided. We had a couple of queries which were quickly responded to by the owner. The house is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the coastal path, a pub and a miRead moreni supermarket. We would definitely stay here again. Hide

The best two things about this house was the location and the views. Unfortunately the house was not up to the normal standard of the houses we have had in the past, 2 out of 6 showers werent usable because of broken doors. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. A horrible smell downstairs, I had to go out and buy an air freshener to try and cover the smell.Read more No cupboard to put any food. Rusty BBQ and we had to buy some matches from the garage to be able to light the cooker hob as the automatic ignition Hide

Spacious property for 10 people and great location and beautiful sunsets in sunny days. Property would benefit from some maintenance and decorating of some paint work. Enjoyed comfortable week. Owner helpful in rectifying any problems arising.

We had a wonderful break, it was just a pity the property was not as wonderful, having paid over 2,000 pound for 3 nights, we expected more.
