Gather a group for a holiday in Pembrokeshire. This property could be the base for a group of friends or an intergenerational family trip – either way, the dogs are invited. You’ll be staying in a barn conversion near Tenby and Pembroke, in an area rich in history, surrounded by gorgeous Welsh coastline.

Enter the property, leave your shoes in the boot room and go to the lounge/diner. This open-plan space stays cool in the summer because of the exposed brick and can get wonderfully cosy with the wood burner when there’s a nip in the air. There are folding doors that open onto the patio, so you’ll have plenty of natural light. The kitchen is adjacent, complete with wooden touches and everything you’ll need to make delicious meals. The last part of the ground floor is the utility room. Head up to the half-landing, where you’ll see a family bathroom with a double bath for long, deep soaks. Continue up the remaining stairs to reach the bedrooms. There’s one king-size bedroom with an en-suite wet room, then a double room and finally a twin room. The garden is split into two parts, a patio with a dining area and a charcoal BBQ, and a stretching lawn. Everything is enclosed with a high wooden fence for security.

You’ll be staying 5.5 miles from Tenby and 5 miles from Pembroke, so there are plenty of places to go to enjoy meals out, visit shops and see beautiful old buildings. Tenby has two beaches and city walls dating back 700 years. Get everyone out to stretch their legs and walk part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, 11.5 miles from the property, where you can see Huntsman’s Leap, Green Bridge and other features.

  • 3 bedrooms – 1 king-size, 1 double and 1 twin
  • 2 bathrooms - 1 family bathroom with double bath and overhead shower, 1 en suite wet room
  • Induction hob and electric oven, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave

  • Driveway parking for 3-4 cars (depending on size)
  • Beach within 6 miles, shop 3.5 miles, pub 0.5 miles
  • Entrance via the garden with step down to patio area
  • Please note that although the patio has a gate, once on the lawn there is a drop down to the patio terrace - children must be supervised at all times
  • There is CCTV covering the driveway of the property.
  • Electric vehicle charging on site

A thoroughly enjoyable week's stay at Apple Tree Farm. The host, Sam, made us feel very welcome. The large garden was completely secure so our three dogs could roam around freely. We had a great time here. Lovely place in a terrific location. Cottage was clean, comfortable and very well-equipped. Patio is a lovely sun-trap. Perfect for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. Everything we wanted to see was just a short drive away, so the location is excellent. Sam & Kate were welcoming & friendly. There are 10 quite steep steps via the gaRead morerden to access the house, so take this into consideration if you have guests with mobility issues. Hide

We just had a lovely week staying at Apple Tree Barn, 6 adults,2 dogs and a ragdoll cat. It was more than big enough for all of us . The house has everything you need and way more. It did get very hot inside especially at night but the fans supplied were a great help. Our son especially loved the huge bath - only took 22 minutes to fill it
