This impressive property is an ideal coastal retreat for families and friends who want to discover the natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Situated at the eastern end of the village of Stepaside, this spacious, contemporary property overlooks woodland and is only a 1-mile walk from the small beach and hamlet of Wiseman’s Bridge. With strong links to the area’s mining past, Stepaside has an historic ironworks and you can follow the old railway line on foot or by bike to Wiseman’s Bridge. Continuing on, you’ll come to the compact seaside resort of Saundersfoot (4 miles).

 

Beautifully decorated and styled with neutral tones and warm woods throughout, this property is perfect for the modern visitor. Arranged over three floors, there is a lounge with a cosy wood burner (as well as a snug), a large, contemporary kitchen with all the mod-cons and an island for sociable cooking, and lots of outside space for al fresco dining, which can be accessed from two sets of French doors. There are six bedrooms and five bathrooms to ensure there is space for everyone to relax in comfort. If you’re into water sports, you’ll be pleased to know there are two kayaks to borrow and a range of wetsuits to choose from in the lockable storage.

 

The Pembrokeshire Coast is well-known for its abundance of tranquil, open space and this property allows you to make the most of it, but it’s also close to some of the more bustling spots. The foodie’s haven, Saundersfoot, has local delicacies on offer as well as a gorgeous sandy beach. More popular Tenby is 6 miles away and has a wealth of independent shops and eateries tucked away on its cobbled streets. The area is perfect for keen walkers, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts with plenty of options available for all three.

The property was spacious, clean and had lots of useful kitchen/ bbq equipment. Gillian welcomed us to the property and did a useful and friendly introduction to the home/ area which was appreciated. Overall the stay was very comfortable, although the king-size beds felt smaller than usual. The gas canister was missing a part at the beginning of ouRead morer stay but this was fixed fairly quickly by the host which was appreciated although delayed our BBQing by 2 days! This is a lovely property, very spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. Our party of 10 enjoyed spending our Christmas here. It's a great location with Wiseman's Beach within easy walking distance through the wooded valley and there are additional walks through the woods past sites of historical interest. What a fantastic place. Its the second time that weve stayed here and love it just as much as the first time. With the doggy beach a short walk away its perfect for us.
