  • Cosy coastal cottage on the scenic Haven waterway where the Pembrokeshire coastal path runs close to the cottage and stretches for 186 miles
  • Relax in the tiered garden and watch the boats go by
  • Explore historic Pembroke, visiting the medieval castle, shops and restaurants
Property code: OC-43430

Benefiting from an unbeatable location on the Pembrokeshire coast, a stay in this pretty cottage invites you to experience the wonderful attractions of this coastal beauty spot. With walks along the coastal path offering you the chance to spot dolphins, puffins and porpoises and the sandy beaches an excellent place to laze away an afternoon, the Welsh coast truly is a fantastic place to stay. The cottage itself is happy to host four guests and two dogs, welcoming you with a generous welcome pack on arrival and a garden with views you won’t be quick to forget.

A perfect mix of contemporary style and traditional decor, this charming cottage has been maintained to suit the modern family without losing its original character. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is an instantly welcoming space with a wood burner set in an original fireplace. Sink into the sofas after a satisfying dinner and soak up the warmth of the fire, perhaps watching TV or playing a board game. Sunny evenings should, of course, be spent in the garden. This tiered garden presents far-reaching views across the estuary and is a satisfying place to sip your first brew of the day or a late-night tipple. And, as day turns to night, two bright and cheerful bedrooms await you upstairs.

Enjoy days ambling around Pembroke (6 miles) or perhaps take the car to Tenby (15 miles) – both of which are tourist destinations that are ever-popular with families. Pembroke features a medieval castle with impressive waters in which to take a boat ride. If the weather doesn’t quite suit a day on the beach (less than 0.5 miles) then embrace a brisk walk along the coastal path, taking in the seascapes and stopping off at the inn next door (less than 500 metres) for a heartily deserved meal.

On arrival the cottage and area is very unviting ,certainly does not live up to the discriptions given . Not wanting to be critical but for what we paid was not worth the money. Suggest anyone booking the cottage to look on google earth for new updated pictures. Once inside it is quite comforatable, shame about patio areas not great.

Lovely cottage, really well decorated in a 'beach house' style - very comfy and snug, especially with the bread oven lit up at night. We really enjoyed the cottage. You probably need to drive to most places, although you can walk to Neyland if you need a local shop. West Angle Bay was brilliant for dogs, as was White Sands at St Davids. The Ferry IRead morenn was really friendly and a fantastic spot. The owners were brilliant with a little issue we had - super responsive - we'd definitely go back! Hide
