Property code: OC-89316

Your very own romantic coastal retreat: this apartment is perfect for two. It’s in the pretty seaside village of Tresaith along the coast from Cardigan just 300 metres from the beach and pub. There are stunning views from the patio where you can sit and watch the sun set over the sea.

The apartment is bright and airy with lots of natural light and contemporary styling. There’s an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a big sofa and a Smart TV for chilling out; the wet room is also on the ground floor. Up the steep cottage-style staircase on a mezzanine level is the bedroom with a king-size bed and its own lighting system (the bedroom is in the loft, so it has low, sloping ceilings with reduced head height). Next to the living area is the patio with amazing sea views.

Tresaith has a good pub and a shop, but the main attraction is the golden, sandy beach, just a short walk from the apartment. Book a fishing trip, go on a dolphin spotting tour to explore the coast, or wander along the coastal path to the nearby village of Aberporth (1 mile south) where there’s a fish and chip shop, snack shacks and an ice cream shop. For a bit of adventure, have a go at white-water rafting, kayaking or paddleboarding at Coed-y-bryn (8 miles away). Head to Cardigan (8.5 miles away) to visit the castle remains and Grade II-listed gardens, and its many cafes, pubs, shops, and restaurants. Gin lovers will enjoy a trip to the Welsh Wind Distillery (1.5 miles) where you can go on gin-making and tasting experiences, and then take a bottle home with you to enjoy on the patio.

Location is good and parking close by, careful when using the steep bedroom stairs, the fridge was too small with no freezer compartment for ice packs. The full size washing machine is probably not needed, and the lack of any wardrobe means living out of your suitcase also a noisy heater making expansion banging noises. But overall very good with eRead morexcellent views and sunsets. Hide

The property is very well equipped and sited with nice views out to sea. The steep stairs to the bedroom with a low ceiling may be a problem to some, but we as oaps managed it with no trouble. We spent a very enjoyable week at Tresaith and would return.

Lovely place for a few nights with a view over the sea and the sunsets were amazing. Well equipped for cooking etc and it was good to have a washing machine too. Be aware that there may be some noise from whoever rents the house above. The beach is great although some may struggle with the many steps back up. We were surprised how low the ceiling was above the bed ,could not make the bed,no wardrobes dangerous stairs looks like somebody had slipped and fell on the heater as it was on the slant. No freezer only a small fridge, cups were not very clean so we used are own and there was hair in the shower drain, the view and surrounding area was stunning.

Location is perfect if you want a chance to get away. Local pub does lovely food, and can't beat the distance it takes to gets to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
