Overlooking the sandy beach of Saundersfoot Bay, this comfortable apartment is perfect for couples and young families keen to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast. Take to the clifftops and scale the stunning trails leading to Tenby 3.5 miles away, spotting basking seals and wild seabirds en route. In the opposite direction, Wiseman’s Bridge has a popular pub and a sand and shingle beach to discover. Adventure seekers can arrange to try a variety of water sports or charter a boat from Saundersfoot Harbour, taking part in sea safari boat trips and visiting Caldey Island.

 

Accessed via an external entrance and flight of stairs, the property is simply presented and practical with everything you need for your stay. Child-sized bunk beds in the hallway and a sofa bed in the lounge provide a choice of sleeping arrangements for young guests, and there is a bedroom with a double bed. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is ideal for watching TV or preparing simple suppers to enjoy at the table. Outside, your private balcony has seating for al fresco drinks, and off-road parking is available at the property. There is also a shower room with a shower cubicle and WC.

 

Whether you are an experienced hiker or an enthusiastic rambler, the cliff-top trails are a must for a day of adventures, especially when you catch your first glimpses of Tenby. Golden sandy beaches, rows of pastel cottages and the once imposing castle are just a few of the treats in store, and the cobbled streets are lined with a selection of excellent restaurants and shops. Further along the coast, pretty Lydstep (7.5 miles) is a great starting point for tackling the next leg of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which leads to St Govan’s, offering marvellous views of Manorbier Castle 9 miles away.

This was our third visit to this apartment and we really enjoyed our stay. There's everything you need and more! The only disappointment was a lack of a table on the balcony which made al fresco meals a bit difficult! Otherwise a perfect stay with wonderful weather,which was a bonus.

A well-equipped venue with fantastic sea views, some wonderful moonrises. We had a lovely break.
