Stroll down to the stretching sands of the beach; venture out on coastal walks from the front door and savour your proximity to shops, cafes and restaurants.
Make your way up to the first floor and step inside to find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Throw open the doors on to balcony on fine days and unwind on the sofa as you watch TV or a DVD in the evening. Play music on the sound system while you play games around the table. When it comes to mealtimes, discover the kitchen comes well equipped for whipping up tasty treats with fresh local produce sourced on your trips out. As night falls, wander through to one of the two double bedrooms, which have been beautifully decorated, to settle for the night. Find one of these rooms has an en-suite shower room, while the other has access to the family bathroom. Make the most of the balcony space as often as the weather permits and discover you have parking for one car with the apartment but can pay for additional vehicles to use a nearby public car park.
Amble less than 150m to reach the edge of the South Beach, which stretches for 1.5 miles and is backed by rolling dunes. Swim, surf or even go canoeing here. Also try North and Castle beaches, both about 0.5 miles away, during your stay. The North Beach is best known for its water sports; you can even have a go at jet skiing here. Book boat trips from the harbour out to see the wildlife of Caldey Island or to go fishing.
