Escape to the Pembrokeshire Coast for an unforgettable couple’s break characterised by a roaring wood burner, scenic cliff-top walks and more beautiful beaches than you can shake a stick at. Idyllically positioned within 1 mile of St. David’s historic streets, this cosy property is a great base for discovering secluded bays and pretty fishing villages and the large garden is a treat for dining alfresco on summer afternoons.

Vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and a wood burner set the scene from the moment you step inside this single-storey cottage. Leave your sandy shoes in the hallway and enter the open-plan living space ready to relax with a glass of wine. Bi-fold doors lead outside to the garden, so you’ll have a pleasant view at breakfast time. There’s a handy wet room, and at bedtime, the bedroom features a king-size bed for a restful night’s sleep. You’ll have everything you need to prepare your favourite meals, so be sure to pick up some tasty local produce and sizzle up something special.

There’s plenty to amuse visitors of all tastes and interests throughout this beautiful corner of Pembrokeshire. The avid adventurer will be spoilt for choice when it comes to water sports, and the coast path is an excellent route for walkers of all abilities. It is a pleasant stroll down to the nearest beach at Porthllisky 0.5 miles away, or Whitesands Bay 3 miles away. Porthgain 8.5 miles away has a delightful harbour, and you’ll be well catered for if you are a fan of seafood as the popular restaurant here serves the finest catch of the day. When visiting St. David’s, it is a must simply to visit the stunning cathedral, and there is a museum and the iconic Bishops Palace to investigate too.

We had a very enjoyable week in Ty Twt. The weather was glorious from beginning to end, how lucky were we. There was a very good welcome pack of goodies for our arrival that was much appreciated. The property was well equipped and comfortable including the bed, not always the case in my experience. It was a very good base for exploring the area.

Pleasant cottage in good order and good location for St David's and the coast. The walk into St David's is easy and saves any parking issues in St David's. We did not find a guest book - we like to read what other guests have said and recommend. The selection of leaflets about local attractions was sparse.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was there. It was very clean and modern, with a mixed style of furniture both old & new. We enjoyed the underfloor heating as our stay was over New Year! We lit the log burner New Years Eve, which was a nice touch. Thank you for a great stay

A nice cottage for two which is part of a larger development. However, it still gives the impression of being secluded with a nice view towards the sea. We stayed over Christmas and the cottage was very nicely decorated and very warm and cosy. We didn't even use the log fire on a couple of nights! A good location for walking along the coastal path,Read more which is little more that 500 metres away, and St David's is only a 10 minute drive away.. Hide

This is a beautiful property. Privacy from neighbours whilst being open has been carefully planned. Well equipped & comfortable. Organise a supermarket delivery otherwise its a 30 min drive to any reasonable supermarket in Haverfordwest. Stunning views A local bus which is on time twice an hour, fabulous.

Beautifully finished and equipped, this wonderful, warm cottage was such a relaxing place to stay. With the other properties alongside it would be ideal for larger family groups with the privacy of your own place. Half hour walk with the dog into St Davids for an evening meal in one of the lovely inns - bliss

Ty Twt is a well equipped, cosy cottage set in a quiet location. St David's with its amenities is only a short distance away (walkable if you don't fancy driving). The peninsular provides plenty of opportunities for walking and the coast path is easily reached in a few minutes. with great beaches close by.

Beautiful cottage with fabulous views. Well equipped and cosy in the evenings with a beautiful camp fire. St Davids is friendly with a fantastic community. Loved all the stunning near beaches. Also the walk to St Nuns Church to the birth place of St Davids is a must.

Had a lovely week staying in this beautiful cottage with stunning views of the sea and surrounding countryside, remote location but within driving distance to local attractions. Small selection of goodies left for us on arrival was really appreciated. Would highly recommend and on our wish list to return.
