Lose yourselves in the incredible views from this impressive, waterside property in Ferryside, West Wales. Sleeping six guests, plus a pair of their four-legged friends, the three-bedroom holiday home overlooks the River Tywi. In a perfect location for anyone wishing to follow a stretch of the Wales Coast Path, while also being close to a post office, pub and railways station, the property could suit a family or group of friends eager to escape together.

Stroll inside to find a clever, upside-down layout with a breezy, seaside theme. At ground-floor level, discover a king-size bedroom, with en-suite shower room, plus a twin and shared shower room. Head up the glass and oak staircase to a double room on the first floor. Also at this level, is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its glorious views. Open the doors in here to stroll out on to the balcony. Prepare meals in the kitchen, then dine together. Find your favourite shows on the TV via the Amazon Fire Stick or a film on Netflix. There is also a selection of DVDs for the Blue Ray player. Discover a WC at this level too. Relax out in the sunshine of the shared courtyard on warm days. The property comes with parking for one car, but additional space can be found in a car park 100 metres away. Guests should be aware that the stairs are open tread and steep. Please note the railway is situated to the side of the property with an opportunity to train spot from the balcony (this is a low-frequency active line).

Pick up the Wales Coast Path and walk 13.5 miles down to the beach and country park at Pembrey. Those who prefer a shorter jaunt might like to try the section to Kidwelly, which is less than 4 miles, and to visit the medieval castle while they are there.

What a fabulous stay we had in this very special location. The house was so well equipped, beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable. The views across the estuary were spectacular and it was great to see the different weathers roll in and out as well as the tides. There were lots of useful touches such as a dog crate and towel and a hose outside Read moreto wash off the sand and mud. It was the perfect place to relax and explore the surrounding area. We would highly recommend. Great communication too. Hide
