Set amongst the pastures and fields of a working farm, this impressive property sleeps seven and enjoys an idyllic village location that’s wonderful for exploring the Gower Peninsula. Known for its wild and rugged beauty, this picturesque corner of South Wales has an abundance of sandy beaches and chocolate-box villages dotted throughout the landscape. After a long day of adventures, return to a roaring fire and a hearty meal.

Brimming with character, this traditional farmhouse is the essence of old-world charm with its exposed stone walls, wooden beams and carefully chosen furniture that cleverly reflects the age of the property. Light the wood burner in the lounge and prepare to relax with a glass of wine, watching TV or listening to your favourite music on the iPod dock. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, and there’s a separate utility room if needed. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished, one of which boasts its own en-suite shower room. Completing the property is a generous bathroom, and there are two outside spaces to choose from. The first is a courtyard to the front of the farmhouse, and the second is a lawned garden accessed via a set of steps.

Set off to explore the Cefyn Bryn Common, passing grazing livestock as you go and taking in the far-reaching views of the coast and countryside. Rhossili Bay is within 7 miles, offering fantastic views for walkers and adrenaline seekers. It’s a popular spot for coasteering, but the beach is excellent for building sandcastles and games. Mumbles is 11 miles away and has a Victorian pier and lots of attractions including Oystermouth Castle, several shops and tempting eateries. For culture vultures, Swansea is also within easy reach, 12 miles away.

Ideal positioning for our stay to complete a 100 Mile Charity Walk in 8 days. The walk included the Gower Pilgrimage Way (+52 miles of other walks!) The rooms were comfortable & the equipment good which made the whole project work for us. The weather was appalling, (four seasons most days), but no matter how wet we got (& we did!), the Boiler/DryinRead moreg room was perfect for getting our equipment washed & dried ready for the next day. Worked for us - good weather would've made it even better!! Hide
