Head to the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron (4 miles) for a wander along the waterfront or a relaxed meal by the sea. Llanrhystud Beach (8 miles) has sweeping views across Cardigan Bay. The university town of Aberystwyth (19 miles) makes a great day trip, and the Llanerchaeron National Trust estate (1.5 miles) is fab for a cultural visit followed by tea and cake in the café.
