  • A holiday apartment in a Georgian house on Tenby's famous Esplanade

Property code: OC-FB233

Studded amongst a row of traditional pastel properties, this comfortable apartment sleeps four and offers a cosy base for families seeking a seaside holiday with all the trimmings. The handy location means you’ll soon be erecting sandcastles and sampling ice cream on the golden sand of Tenby’s famous beaches and cooling off with a dip in the sea. Water sports, retail therapy and exciting walks are within easy reach, and further afield you’ll find plenty of attractions for a day trip.

Tackle the 40-step ascent to reach the entrance and settle down to relax in your open-plan living space. High ceilings, large bay windows and attractive architectural details feature throughout, and there are impressive views of South Beach. Prepare light meals and hearty breakfasts in the kitchen and dine together at the table, or enjoy a takeaway and a film night in the lounge area. There is a family bathroom for washing away the sand after a busy day, and at bedtime, you’ll have a choice of two pretty bedrooms. The twin bedroom has two 2ft 6” zip-and-link beds that can be made up into a king-size bed if needed.

Venture down to the harbour to watch the boats and try your hand at crabbing, rounding off with something delicious at one of the eateries. The medieval stone wall, castle ruins and museum will appeal to the budding historians of your group, but adventure-seekers will be well catered for with the range of water sports on offer. Hire kayaks, jet skis and paddleboards, or charter a boat to take you to Caldey Island. The island is inhabited by an order of Cistercian monks, who handcraft perfume and chocolate to sell in the shop.

This apartment has the most stunning view and was very close to the town centre the only downfall being the 40 internal stairs if you have mobility issues. It was very warm ( we stayed in January ) and had a very nice chilled break. It has everything that you need for a self catering holiday and is reasonably priced. The beds were very comfortable Read moreand a good nights sleep was had by all. Plus the parking permit for the multi storey car park was a nice little touch. Hide

A tad tired in general, could do with a spruce up. WiFi awful, lumpy pillows, uncomfortable living area and poorly lit bathroom. Plus point, nice view. Definitely wouldnt stay again.

A good solid apartment with fabulous views and in a pretty central location. Very comfortable beds and sofa. Some of the furniture was tired/damaged and the place would benefit from a bit of a face lift. The 40 steps aren't ideal though are clearly advertised. It's a spacious and clean flat in a fab location. The view over the sea is second to none - thoroughly enjoyed it.
