This unique family and dog-friendly cottage is located in the popular winner of Wales in bloom village of Wolfscastle. It sits conveniently between the Pembrokeshire county town of Haverfordwest and Fishguard. This idyllic village has many woodland/river walks, the Lions rock and Mott and Bailey Castle. It boasts a public house and restaurant just across the road and a wedding venue, brasserie restaurant and spa at the top of the village. Haverfordwest has a great selection of supermarkets, shops, plus a local cinema. Fishguard is fast becoming a foodie destination with an excellent selection of independent bars cafes and restaurants. Its central location to so many picture postcard villages, attractions, golf clubs & beaches like Newgale (8 miles) with its pebble-backed golden sands stretching over two miles. Abereiddy (13 miles) is within a stone's throw of the famous blue lagoon, these are popular with families, surfers, dog walkers and water sports enthusiasts.
This beautifully present and generously sized cottage is perfect for those big family or friend gatherings. The lounge has three sumptuous fabric sofas centred around the Smart TV and electric fire and a selection of games for everyone. Double doors lead out to the patio and fire pit area. The dual-aspect window floods the room with light and views of the mountain surrounding the south side of the property. The contemporary country kitchen has been exceptionally well equipped to cater to your culinary needs during your stay and has a handy breakfast bar for your morning coffee and planning the day. The utility room sits adjacent to the kitchen and provides access to the enclosed child and pet-safe rear garden. Use the plush dining room for more formal dining or a family games night. There is one bedroom on the ground floor with a small double bed and if you need to bring your work with you, there is also a useful desk area in the large hallway. Completing the ground floor is a convenient WC. On the first floor, you will find the master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room with shower and WC. There is also a family bedroom with a double bed, single bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and WC. The separate fourth bedroom leads off from here and contains a single bed. This makes an ideal space for families with young children who'd prefer to be together. The final bedroom is a twin room (or 1 super-king-size available on request) and completing the first floor is the large family bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC.
Externally, the cottage enjoys a large private, fully enclosed, lawn garden to the rear offering plenty of space for children to play. A lockable garden shed. There's an outdoor dining area, and a selection of outdoor games, with a charcoal BBQ and dining bench provided - perfect for a family BBQ on a warm evening. To the front of the cottage, there is a patio area with curved seating around a firepit - the perfect space to relax and unwind under the stars after a day exploring the county's many attractions. A lockable garage is available by prior request for safe storage of larger items, for example, water sports equipment, kayaks, bicycles etc.
