Sleeping up to 15 people in the rural Gower village of Llanrhidian, this property offers the opportunity for a multi-generational family holiday. If you’re looking for some fabulous walks, the Wales Coastal Path is within easy reach, and the gorgeous beaches of Whiteford Sands and Broughton Bay are within 8 miles. The Gower Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it the perfect place to relax surrounded by spectacular scenery. In particular, you could visit Penclawdd, 5 miles away, a village famous for its local cockle industry and offering far-reaching views across the Loughor River. While there, be sure to pick up a treat at the Gower's first homemade gelato parlour.

The property is beautifully presented with light and bright interiors. The spacious lounge features gorgeous wooden flooring, a stylish wood burner and French doors leading out to the patio. Also providing a wonderful place to kick back and relax is the colourful snug, complete with wood burner in an attractive fireplace. There is plenty of room for socialising in the generous kitchen, with an island and three bar stools, and large dining area with views of the garden and Penclawwd Estuary. This floor also offers a cosy single bedroom, utility room and separate WC. Five of the property’s seven bedrooms can be found on the second floor: two doubles, a king-size and a twin. Each characterful bedroom has been designed with comfort in mind. This is especially true of the final bedroom on this floor, a super-king-size, with a TV, armchair, walk-in wardrobe, and en-suite shower room. Up here, there is also a fabulous bathroom with free-standing bath and separate walk-in shower. The seventh bedroom is on the second floor; a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and Velux windows make this a charming space. It even has its own en-suite bathroom. As if that wasn’t enough, this property has the added bonus of an annexe, where you’ll find a king-size bed, compact kitchen area including a dining table, and a wet room with shower chair and hand rails.

Outside, the garden has a large lawn and a patio with charcoal BBQ and ample outdoor seating options for both dining and relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family get together at Malt Hall. There was plenty of space, a variety of utensils for us to use when cooking, the children loved the garden especially. Good location to get to various local attractions.

Good accurate information about the property, photographs matched the reality. The property was very comfortable and well equipped for the numbers and at no time did we feel cramped. We could all sit at the dining table to eat and there was enough garden furniture for us to sit on comfortably. The queries that came up were dealt with in an efficienRead moret and friendly way. The view was calming and relaxing and we all had a fabulous time. The property was in an excellent position for visiting the beaches and the local pub was visited more than once! Hide

My family and I had a great time at Malt Hall, the house was fantastic and the hosts were great. Original Cottages were also very helpful and quick to respond with any queries I had before the actual stay.

The property is lovely - beautifully decorated and really good space for our group. We liked the little touches like toiletries and milk provided. However there were some key details that had been missed - batteries missing or dead in the remote controls and bin lid, Sky box not connected to TV and no obvious way to fix it, missing lightbulbs aboveRead more cooker, no paper in downstairs loo. More importantly, there were instructions not to change boiler settings but not enough hot water for showers when we got back at the end of the day. Would have been nice to have recycling facilities Hide
