A chocolate-box cottage with ample home comforts, this attractive property sleeps six at the heart of Saundersfoot, a charming coastal village with an impressive gastronomic reputation. Pembrokeshire is a remarkable place to visit, and you are sure to fall in love with the dramatic coastline from the moment you set eyes on the rugged cliff tops, pretty villages and the azure sea. Delve a little deeper and you’ll be rewarded with tastebud-tantalising local delicacies, hidden pockets of history, and exciting activities both in and out of the water. Saundersfoot is a popular destination for thrill seekers thanks to the opportunities for coasteering, kayaking and diving. There are over 12 golf courses to choose from including Tenby Golf Club and South Pembrokeshire Golf Club, or why not try your hand at sea fishing and arrange a boat trip from the harbour? For the youngest guests, the golden sandy beaches are perfect for sandcastle building and crabbing in the rock pools, whether you are basking on Saundersfoot’s beautiful beach or venturing to Tenby (3.5 miles). Boasting cobbled streets, ancient stone walls and a bustling Tudor Square, this is a destination not to be missed.

Brush off the sand and head inside, preparing for a relaxing evening curled up in the lounge watching your favourite films accompanied by hot chocolate and snacks. Recline on the sofas or snuggle up in the rocking chair, appreciating the cosy comfort of this spacious room. Mealtimes are a breeze in the open-plan kitchen/diner, and you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips for rustling up decadent meals. There is even a washing machine and a handy TV, and the large table that has seating for six is located down the three steps leading to the kitchen. The first bedroom is also located on this level: a pretty single bed with a single stowaway bed as an extra option – it also benefits from an en-suite shower room. Climb the stairs at bedtime and you’ll have a choice of three further bedrooms: one twin and one single perfect for youngsters, and an attractive king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Completing the property is a large family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Al fresco dining is on the cards on balmy evenings, so pour yourself your favourite tipple and wander into the rear enclosed garden to unwind. Steps lead down to a lawned garden that has lots of room for children and pets to play safely, and there is a double garage with storage space for bikes. Take a seat on a comfy chair and bask in the ambience or deal out the cards ready for a game. The front garden is also pleasant with a large expanse of grass.
