This beautifully decorated, five-floor, Victorian townhouse is a stylish and spacious base for families or groups visiting the colourful seaside town of Tenby in Pembrokeshire. If you can drag yourself away from the trendy chill out spots in this holiday home, visit Tenby Harbour lined with pastel-coloured houses and explore the cobbled town that’s packed with unique cafes, pubs and shops. Tenby’s scenic South Beach, a mile and a half long, is just 0.2 miles from this property and a great place to relax on the sand or at the beachside bar and restaurant. There are many other scenic and interesting places to visit across Pembrokeshire including a boat ride to the holy Caldey Island to visit the monastery or a day trip to the seaside village of Saundersfoot (4.5 miles) which you can reach via the panoramic Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Holidaying with kids? They’ll love a day at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (6.5 miles).

Relax back at this holiday home which has stylish furnishings and decor throughout every room, and underfloor heating across the ground floor. The lounge has plenty of plump seating surrounding the TV and a feature fireplace with a coal effect gas fire for cosy evenings. Chic painted units line the kitchen which boasts a coffee machine, a big window and a door leading to the small courtyard. The rustic dining room, featuring a Welsh dresser, will sit ten. Upstairs on the first floor, the living room is another great place to relax with ample seating, a TV and partial sea views. Artwork on the walls and the feature coal effect gas fireplace make it unique. The bathroom is elegant with a Victorian-style slipper bath, overhead shower, illuminated mirror and underfloor heating. On the second floor, there’s another bathroom with a shower over the bath and a king-size bedroom with partial sea views. The third floor is home to a king-size bedroom with an en-suite WC and a triple bedroom with three single beds that are zip-and-link, so can be arranged as one king-size and one single if requested. Finally, the top of the property houses the fourth-floor chill-out room: a loft space (with some limited head height) that’s snug with bean bag chairs, a flame effect stove heater and entertainment from the board games, TV and PS4 console with games. Chill out loft has two velux windows (with sea views).

Enjoy the small but charming secure courtyard terrace, accessed from the kitchen. There is a bistro dining set with cushioned seating and a bench plus a gas BBQ. Hanging rails for drying clothes and wetsuits are handy after a beach day, as is the outside tap.

Chart House provided us with some fabulous memories. We spent a bank holiday weekend with my husband, stepson (16) and parents. It did not fault. There is so much break-out space, decked out impeccably. A top-floor games room is excellent for the young ones and separate lounges work wonderfully for when the football is on!! The welcome hamper was gRead moreorgeous, full-fat milk, sourdough bread, welsh salty butter, welsh cakes and chocolate sponge cake - all needed after walking the stunning coastal path. Thank you for your lovely hospitality. Hide

We have loved our stay at Chart House. It is in a great location, a short stroll to the magnificent beaches and the many amenities in this charming coastal town. Every aspect of the house has been beautifully curated with great care and maintained to the highest standard. We very much appreciated the many luxurious touches, the attention to detaRead moreil and the fully equipped kitchen. Thank you so much for the welcome hamper and for your thoughtful follow-ups to ensure we were fully settled in. Access to long term parking arrangement made journeys very easy and our dog Otto loved curling up in his corner of the kitchen/dining room after long walks. We leave with fond memories of a beautiful house in a lovely setting and hope to return some day. With our thanks and very best wishes. Hide

We can only echo what all previous visitors have written. The house is beautifully appointed and situated. We have holidayed before in Tenby and love it. The excellent weather was an unexpected bonus and allowed us to explore this part of the Country even more. Of course the children were on the beach everyday. Thank you for a most comfortable stay
