With sandy beaches a matter of metres from your door, this charming home is the ideal base for friends or family to explore the seaside town of Tenby and the surrounding Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Popular since the Victorian era, Tenby’s colourful streets are lined with boutique shops, charming cafes, fantastic seafood restaurants and welcoming pubs. With four beaches and a working harbour on offer, spend your days crabbing, swimming, sandcastle building and rock-pooling. Alternatively, take a boat trip over to Caldey Island and look for local wildlife on the way, such as puffins, grey seals and the odd dolphin if you're lucky! Watersports enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either, with jet-ski safaris, kayak hire, motor boat hire, banana boats, wakeboarding, sailing and surfing all available close by. The coastline of the national park is easily accessible via the Wales Coast Path that runs through the town and onto some spectacular clifftop scenery. For fun-filled family days out, look no further than Manor Wildlife Park (3 miles), Folly Farm Adventure Park (6 miles) and Oakwood Theme Park (11 miles), with entertainment for children, and adults, of all ages.

This is a home full of personality, with solid wood floors, chunky beams overhead and splashes of colour creating a welcoming place to stay. A cosy lounge/diner features two comfortable sofas, a decorative fireplace and a large wooden dining table. The well-equipped kitchen is ready and waiting to feed hungry mouths and comes complete with everything needed to cook up a meal at home. The light-filled lounge is home to a huge comfortable corner sofa, Smart TV and glass patio doors opening onto the garden. There is also a handy utility room with laundry facilities and downstairs shower room on this ground floor, perfect for sandy feet returning from the beach. Upstairs, you again find attractive wooden floors and solid overhead beams in the bedrooms alongside colourful feature walls. There is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin, a triple and another double on this floor. A lovely family bathroom with a freestanding bath completes the accommodation.

The quirky walled courtyard garden is ideal for al fresco meals at the outdoor dining area or on the corner sofa. There is an old telephone box and a Victorian-style street lamp that illuminates the tropical plants at night in a nod to Tenby’s heritage.

Location perfect the accommodation was sufficient for a family of 8 and having parking for 3 cars was a bonus. If were being picky bathrooms were bit a problem having only two showers and one of them being on suites. Very enjoyable weekend and hope to be back there next year
