A delightful semi-detached cottage in a quiet Welsh village. This pet-friendly one-bedroom property is ideal for a couple or solo traveller wanting a tranquil base from which to explore South West Wales. The property is in Ferryside, on the estuary of the River Towy, one of the longest rivers in Wales. It’s home to a village shop and green, cafe, pub and yacht club and has a train station with regular services running to Carmarthen (10miles), Swansea (24 miles) and into Pembrokeshire. Ferryside Beach is perfect for dog walkers and nature lovers and comes with stunning views across the estuary to Llansteffan with its atmospheric hilltop castle.

The inside of this semi-detached cottage is stylishly decorated with comfortable rooms and lovely finishing touches. The ground floor holds a cosy lounge with a wood burner and Smart TV, and a bathroom with an asymmetric bath and a shower-over. Down three steps from the lounge is a well-equipped kitchen with access to the rear courtyard. A generously proportioned double bedroom fills the second floor and features wooden floorboards, a charmingly sloped ceiling and a view across the estuary to the Llansteffan Castle.

Outside, a peaceful, enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs provides a lovely spot to sit for a morning coffee.

Walks on the beach loved the quiet lovely people drove to Stackpole well worth the visit ferryside cafe loved the food & people White Lion Hotel had Sunday Lunch very nice
