This lovely ground-floor apartment within a private development is a perfect, cosy base for romantic couples’ trips to Saundersfoot: a picturesque seaside village on the scenic Pembrokeshire coast. Admire the view as you walk to town (0.5 miles) via a hill overlooking the village, harbour and beach. Blue Flag-awarded Saundersfoot Beach is a picturesque stretch of sand to stroll or sunbathe; while you can spend delightful afternoons exploring the independent shops, cafes and restaurants in the village, stopping for a relaxed seafood lunch. Fancy something active? Head to the harbour to try paddleboarding or ramble along the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast Path, a National Trail with wonderful sea views. Other nearby seaside destinations include historic, postcard-perfect Tenby (3 miles) which boasts three lovely beaches.

Make yourself at home in the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room. Prepare romantic breakfasts or dinners in the modern kitchen; enjoy them together at the bright, dining table; then retire to the living room where there are two plush sofas, homely accessories like a rug and scatter cushions, and plenty of entertainment from the TV, DVD player/stereo and separate digital radio. The comfy bedroom is king-sized with a desk and chair for reading or checking emails; while the bathroom, featuring bright tiles, has a shower over a bath that’s great for soaking after your seaside adventures.

The property was idea for both my wife I, comfortable and warm. it's also an ideal place to go exploring the beautiful Welsh coastline. Saunderfoot only being a five min walk down the hill, where you could also catch a bus to the neighbouring town of Tenby. All in all we enjoyed our week away, and the apartment is an ideal base for anyone wishing tRead moreo visit the Welsh coast line. Hide

Apartment was well appointed and quiet for us. A good distance away (and up hill) from the town centre but close enough for us to have a good stroll after dinner out. Easy access to main roads and parking space a must have for me. Would recommend.

We spent a very enjoyable week at this smart, comfortable, warm, well-equipped apartment; very quiet at this time of year; nice lighting in the lounge; good size fridge/freezer; excellent shower which runs consistently hot; comfortable bed. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Great to have allocated parking immediately outside the front door. Fairly fRead morerequent bus service to Tenby and Haverfordwest, with stops close to the apartment. For those with limited walking ability the steep climb from the town centre might be troublesome. Hide

Very much enjoyed our week at the apartment, despite the weather being extremely changeable. The apartment is extremely comfortable and well equipped, ideal as a base for exploring the lovely Pembrokeshire area. We would not hesitate to stay again if we return to South West Wales.

Our holiday was excellent in all aspects, but we were unaware of the very steep hill walk from the centre of Saundersfoot to the apartment. Parking in Saundersfoot we found to be very busy so were unable to eat out as often as we would have liked because of the difficulty parking in the evening and then the long and very steep walk back to the apaRead morertment if we had decided to walk. Had difficulty finding the apartment because of lack of signage on front door. Hide

My husband and I had a lovely relaxing holiday. The property had everything we needed and we found the washing machine a bonus. We would consider coming again to the Coppice. We did find the journey down to Saundersfoot tiring as it takes 7-8 hours from Newcastle so we need to maybe consider a shorter journey.
