This lovely home is perfect for a family holiday on the Welsh coast. It could also suit a group of friends holidaying together. The house is located in the centre of this characterful Welsh seaside town. It is just a few hundred metres from the New Quay’s amenities, including its lovely sandy beaches. There is a nice range of shopping in the town as well as cafes, restaurants and friendly local pubs. The town is known for the dolphins that often visit its waters. It is sometimes possible to spot them from the quayside. But there are also regular dolphin-spotting boat trips heading out into the waters of Cardigan Bay. Watersports such as sailing and surfing are popular in the town and on the surrounding beaches. For those that prefer to stay on dry land, there is excellent walking along the dramatic Wales Coastal Path that runs through the town. For a day trip, a drive along the coast road to Aberystwyth 15 miles north offers fantastic views. Aber is a lively and attractive university town with a prom and pier and plenty of shopping and dining.
The house is set over two floors and there are additional steps up from the front door to the raised ground floor. Once inside guests will find a welcoming open-plan living space with a snug lounge featuring a wood burner and a set of French doors leading to the garden. Behind this is a large wooden dining table with plenty of room for eight guests to share a meal. The kitchen is accessed via an open arch from the living space and has all you need to cook up a feast. Upstairs guests will find three comfortable bedrooms with wooden floors throughout. There are two double rooms and a room with bunk beds. All three bedrooms share the use of the family bathroom with a walk-in shower and a freestanding bath.
The rear garden is accessed via French doors or a back door. Here guests can make use of the pretty patio garden. This is a private enclosed space with shady areas, bordered by a stone wall.
