This welcoming stone cottage is one of four cottages in a pretty rural setting is ideal for a small group of family or friends. You’ll be 0.5 miles from Trefin, a charming village on the North Pembrokeshire coast. The nearby beach, accessed via a private footpath from the property, is great for rock pooling; if you fancy a swim, head to the beach at Porthgain (1.5 miles) or Abercastle (1.5 miles). You reach both of these by walking along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. St Davids, Britain’s smallest city, is 7 miles away and well worth a visit during your trip.
You’ll enter the property into the charming open-plan living area, where you’ll spend most of your time during your stay. There are leather sofas and a TV, plus a wood burner for keeping warm. White walls, an attractive wooden ceiling and a stone floor add to the room’s traditional and rustic appeal. Up a step, the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for meal preparation. The space also includes a table and chairs for enjoying meals, and a door that leads outside. A spiral staircase leads up to the first floor, where you’ll find the two bedrooms, which both have low eaves. There’s a spacious double overlooking the old farm, plus a twin room. The bathroom has a large corner bath that’s great for an indulgent soak after a long day of exploration, plus a WC.
Outside, you’ll find a small paved area for relaxing in the fresh air. This leads to a shared garden which has furniture plus a children’s area featuring swings, a slide and a fireman’s pole. The house is surrounded by 13 acres of land that you can explore at your leisure.
