This lovely, refurbished chapel sits in the fishing village of Saundersfoot, making a great base for families wishing to explore the Welsh coast. The village itself has an array of amenities including a good selection of independent shops and eateries, as well as a gorgeous sandy beach for family fun. Set within the Pembrokeshire National Park, there are a number of beautiful walks and beaches within easy reach boasting an array of wildlife to spot en-route. Tenby (4 miles) is an historic village which is well worth a visit whilst staying in the area, with lots to explore within the walled city, and a number of wildlife spotting or fishing boat trips on offer from the harbour.

As part of a former chapel, the property is full of character, with high beamed ceilings and large arched windows. The stylish kitchen/living/dining space takes up the entire first floor, offering a good space with seating on the comfortable L-shaped sofa, around the four-person dining table, and at the breakfast bar. On the ground floor is a pretty king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, both enjoying en-suite shower rooms. The third bedroom, a twin, sits on the second floor and has lots of space for kids to play or watch TV. It has exposed beams and sloping ceilings making this a very characterful room. Completing the second floor is the family bathroom, with a luxurious freestanding bath sat beneath two skylights making a relaxing place to wind down.

Outside there is an open patio area equipped with a table and chairs so guests can make the most of warm weather and scenic sunsets.

We had a lovely family holiday at The Old Chapel, which is situated in a superb location with easy access to town and beach together with a lovely view of the sea from outside seating area in front of the property. The Old Chapel is decorated to a high standard throughout with lovely paintings and nice little touches. The 3 bedrooms all with en-suiRead morete bathrooms 2 with power showers were great. The kitchen is very well equipped light and airy open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Overall perfect for a multi generational (4) stay. 2 parking permits which were really handy for nearby car park and 30 minute parking right outside. We all enjoyed our stay at this lovely unusual property. Hide

A great cottage in a fabulous location. We had a wonderful family holiday, covering 3 generations. A real bonus having a parking permit too. We would definitely book this property again.

This is the second year we have stayed at the property - it is clean, well resourced and very well maintained. We love the history of the property and the decor. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Saundersfoot and in close proximity to everything we needed (and especially the beach). With young children it made our Iives so easy beiRead moreng so close. The property is very well equipped and really does feel like a home away from home. The kitchen has all equipment needed to cook how much or how little you may like. The beds are very comfortable and having bathrooms in each bedroom is a joy! The parking permit allows parking a short walk away - weve not found this an issue at all. We will certainly return in the future if we have the chance. Diolch yn fawr iawn. Hide
