This lovely, refurbished chapel sits in the fishing village of Saundersfoot, making a great base for families wishing to explore the Welsh coast. The village itself has an array of amenities including a good selection of independent shops and eateries, as well as a gorgeous sandy beach for family fun. Set within the Pembrokeshire National Park, there are a number of beautiful walks and beaches within easy reach boasting an array of wildlife to spot en-route. Tenby (4 miles) is an historic village which is well worth a visit whilst staying in the area, with lots to explore within the walled city, and a number of wildlife spotting or fishing boat trips on offer from the harbour.

As part of a former chapel, the property is full of character, with high beamed ceilings and large arched windows. The stylish kitchen/living/dining space takes up the entire first floor, offering a good space with seating on the comfortable L-shaped sofa, around the four-person dining table, and at the breakfast bar. On the ground floor is a pretty king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, both enjoying en-suite shower rooms. The third bedroom, a twin, sits on the second floor and has lots of space for kids to play or watch TV. It has exposed beams and sloping ceilings making this a very characterful room. Completing the second floor is the family bathroom, with a luxurious freestanding bath sat beneath two skylights making a relaxing place to wind down.

Outside there is an open patio area equipped with a table and chairs so guests can make the most of warm weather and scenic sunsets.

Great location with such an imaginative design annd use of space. Overall the interior is falling short in quality for its cost. The bedding and pillows are tired, the non functioning TV in the master bedroom is disappointing. Some of the bedroom furniture is in poor order. One main issue is the perpetual stickiness of the large breakfast bar whRead moreich made it unusable - we reported this to Powells. It was so severe that magazines and books actually adhered to the surface. A traditional ironing board would be much better than the table top one? It was a shame the outside lights were no longer functioning as shown in the photo. A suggestion would be to provide soap dishes or a shelf in the showers. Overall we enjoyed the property and if the attention to detail from its design was maintained it would be a 10 out of 10 Hide

Perfect accommodation! Lovely and spacious, but still homely. So close to the beach and pretty much everything within walking distance. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying here. Look forward to visiting again
