It is also perfectly positioned for anyone wishing to lace up their walking boots and head out along the picturesque Gower Coast Path or to explore the many other beauty spots of this corner of South Wales. Venture into Mumbles, 2 miles away, to dine out or shop in colourful outlets, or plan an excursion to lively Swansea, 6.5 miles away, to go to the cinema or theatre or to find an abundance of restaurants and shopping areas.

Head up to the second floor of the apartment block and open the front door to the holiday home. Follow the hall past the double bedroom into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its impressive sea views. Stunning location and views but unfortunately impossible access to the beach due to the bottom of the slipway being covered in large rocks impossible to cross and reach the sand. Felt trapped only way to get onto the beach was via a 15 min walk on very dangerous road. Perhaps only suitable for young surfers not for senior citizens who cant climb ovRead moreer rocks. Beach access in picture on website depicts clear path onto beach. Parking an issue as two adults with a car each - one had to pay 17 pound for each overnight stay. Hide

Our fifth stay at Redcliffe. Wonderful location, the views across the beach are stunning. Apartments are quite small, but plenty big enough for two. Nice little balconies. Great cliff walks from Caswell, about two miles to Langland, another two to Mumbles. You can get a bus back from Mumbles if you don't feel up to walking back.

The flat and equipment is in poor standard; oven hob rings turn on and off, damp smell inside, oven inside greasy and filthy. Broken chest of drawers in the bedroom unfit for purpose. No proper curtains in the bedroom allowing a lot of light inside from windows. Clothes airer broken and could not stand on its own but only propped up against wall,Read more sofa etc. Water on the floor near fridge as we arrived, and the floor shows sign of damage because of it; floor tiles sink and are damaged - the same in the bedroom... Rusty toilet brush in the bathroom. Hide

I would recommend that potential customers avoid this flat because of the persistent smell of fish.

As previously mentioned in other customer reviews the apartment is very tire and in need of updating and maintenance. Bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. The apartment had a stale smell and therefore we needed to open the patio doors to air it.

Although the accommodation was a bit tired, the view and location exceeds minor concerns within the Flat. ie - TV a bit small, Cooker Hob difficult to use - all in all a good place to stay.

Property could do with some routine maintenance and re-decoration to make it a better rental experience. The location and view of the bay are 10 out of 10.
