This appealing holiday home sleeping six guests is ideal for families or a group of friends, with attractions for all ages and interests within close distance. The bustling market town of Narberth (2.5 miles) has multi-coloured Georgian and Edwardian buildings, along its lively high street. Known for its independent shops selling local produce and vintage goods, together with antiques and galleries, the town has a fascinating museum and hosts a major food festival each September. A short journey to Canaston Bridge (4.5 miles) will bring you to the beautiful Canaston Woods and a peaceful circular walk past the medieval Mounton Chapel and historic Blackpool Mill. For amazing views across rolling countryside, climb the stairway in the ruins of Llawhaden Castle (7 miles). Lively Saundersfoot (6 miles), offers golden beaches with safe swimming, watersports and wonderful walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. See more glorious beaches in the walled seaside town of Tenby (8.5 miles), from where you can take boat trips to Caldey Island and visit the National Trust’s Colby Woodland Garden (5 miles), where children can build dens, cook over a campfire and play in a stream.

Enter the property from a spacious entrance hall into a large and comfortable living room, fully carpeted and with two bay windows overlooking the garden. Seating is provided by inviting leather sofas and chairs, with a wood burner-effect electric fire for cosy nights in watching the TV. Attractive pieces of period furniture include three fine cupboards and an oval table. The spacious kitchen has country-style units, a round wooden table with chairs and an easy chair where keen cooks can take a break. There are two comfortable double bedrooms furnished in soft, neutral tones, each with a TV and one with a period headboard and bedside chest of drawers. The bungalow also has a full-sized bunk bedroom with a TV. Two bathrooms complete the accommodation, one with a pretty roll-top bath with clawed feet and a shower attachment, plus a WC; the other has a shower cubicle with a WC.

Talar Wen is a delightful bungalow. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was centrally situated with many attractions close by.
