Property code: OC-HH9901

Located on the edge of Port Eynon beach, this contemporary, reverse-style, four-bedroom cottage has been designed to take full advantage of the superb sea views, perfect for keen coastal adventurers. Port Eynon is a small coastal village located on the furthest southern tip of the Gower Peninsula within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Below the cliffs at Port Eynon where the castle is once believed to have stood, discover Culver Hole (0.5 miles), a unique and unusual cave sealed behind a 60ft stone wall lined with mismatched windows, holding a bounty of smuggling stories. Enjoy almost a mile of golden sand backed by dunes at Port Eynon Bay less than 0.5 miles away, popular for all types of water sports including, diving, sailing, surfing and windsurfing. You can walk across the beach to the pretty neighbouring village of Horton (2 miles), located just above the dunes.

The property welcomes you into the reverse arrangement with a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. The rest of this level is comprised of a further two twin bedrooms, one benefiting from patio doors out to the garden, and a well-appointed family bathroom. Upstairs unfolds onto an open-plan dining/living room, with the dining area at the front of the space complete with a spacious wooden dining table and chairs, flooded by natural light from the floor-to-ceiling patio doors out to the balcony. The cosy living space is complemented by distinctive traditional decor, with plenty of comfortable seating surrounding a TV with a DVD player. Adjoining this space, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, kitted out with everything you may need. Back through the first floor, you’ll find a final cosy twin bedroom.

Outside, the cottage opens out onto a lovely south-facing lawned garden, enclosed by a low stone wall for privacy guaranteed whilst still enabling you to enjoy the wonderful coastal backdrop. Admire the far-reaching view from the best angle on the cosy decked balcony, complete with patio furniture.

We thought this Cottage was absolutely perfect. A Stones throw from the beach and a pub, restaurant and fantastic coffee shop all within a minute walk. The beds were really comfortable and we slept really soundly. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked in one night. The towels were large and fluffy. It really was a great place to stay. An amazing place for Christmas. Everything about the cottage is so well thought out, with the bedrooms downstairs and living rooms upstairs with a balcony looking over the sea and the sunrise. Its on the Wales ,coast path which provides spectacular walks. Very well equipped too and beds comfortable.
