This welcoming two-bedroom chalet is smartly presented and lovingly furnished with excellent attention to detail. Set on the landscaped grounds of Bayview Oxwich Leisure Park, it makes the perfect cosy sanctuary. Full of iconic thatched cottages, Oxwich is one of South Gower's most picturesque coastal villages, nestled in the curve of Oxwich Bay (1 mile), a magnificently large 2-mile sandy stretch fringed with dunes, with perfect conditions for a leisurely swim and paddle. Gower Coast Adventures (0.5 miles) offers the best view of the coastline with a guided boat tour from Oxwich Bay to Worm’s Head, allowing you to catch a glimpse of plenty of marine wildlife along your expedition. Back on dry land, explore the rich history of the local area at Gower Heritage Centre, 4.5 miles away, touring through a working water wheel, corn mill, woollen mill and blacksmiths.

The chalet welcomes you straight into the spacious, open-plan, bright and colourful living/dining space, illuminated with plenty of natural sunlight from the sliding patio doors. The living area is complete with a comfy sofa cleverly positioned to enjoy views out to the patio, as well as two lounge chairs, a cosy flame-effect fire and a large TV. The dining space is defined by a compact foldable dining table and fold-away chairs. Through the chalet, you’re met with a well-equipped shaker-style kitchen, kitted out with everything you may need, as well as a contemporary, partially tiled family bathroom. There are also two bedrooms, one double and one featuring bunk beds, both benefiting from a charming nautical theme. This chalet is situated at ground level, with no internal steps inside the chalet.

Outside, there is a wonderful single-storey patio area complete with a wooden dining set for the perfect sunny spot to unwind or enjoy dining alfresco.

We used this bungalow as a base for the Endurancelife Gower half marathon that finishes on the beach. Perfect location. I imagine it would be amazing in the summer with all the lovely beaches but with the coastal path it was beautiful in November. Perfect for our needs.
