This coastal retreat is nestled in Limeslade, Mumbles. Welcoming four guests, the property makes a fantastic base for couples and small families looking to explore Swansea Bay’s stunning coastline. Mumbles is a traditional seaside village with a Victorian Pier, long promenade, ice cream parlours, and seafood restaurants. There’s also a great range of pubs and bars along the famous ‘Mumbles Mile’. For history enthusiasts, a visit to the imposing 12th-century castle, which overlooks the village, is a must. Your nearest beach is the small, sheltered cove at Limeslade Bay (300 metres). This rugged beach is the perfect spot for a quiet picnic or a dip in the sea. From here, you can follow the clifftop path to nearby Langland Bay, just 0.5 miles away. Mumbles is considered the gateway to the breathtaking Gower Peninsula, where you’ll find remote coast paths, hidden coves, and long, sandy beaches such as the iconic Rhossili Bay (17 miles). You can also enjoy a day trip to the coastal city of Swansea (6 miles), with its fabulous array of independent shops and eateries.

Step into this delightful seaview chalet (approx. 550 square feet), a cozy retreat with simple decor, comfortable furniture, and soft furnishings. Leave your sandy shoes in the porch before heading into the light and airy lounge/diner. A large picture window frames stunning views of the sea and lighthouse, adding to the charm of the space. After a day of exploring the coastline, take a moment to unwind on the plump sofa or one of the two armchairs, watching a movie, enjoying a good book, or simply gazing out at the ever-changing seascape. In the corner, you'll find a dining table, perfect for mealtimes. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Down the hallway, you will find the family bathroom and two cozy bedrooms – a double and a twin – both decorated in neutral tones for a calm and restful atmosphere.

Outside, dine alfresco on the patio on a balmy summer’s evening, taking in the magnificent coastal views. The property has parking for two cars.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. The location and it's close proximity to Limeslade Bay and Bracelet Bay is a real plus point. The view of the sea from the lounge and main bedroom is so wonderful, even on a wet February day we could still sit and enjoy the sea in the dry! The bungalow is well equipped, although we didn't cook there so I caRead moren't comment too much on catering supplies. It was warm and cosy with heaters on. The host provided a lovely welcome pack on arrival and in addition to what is listed on the website description, they also provided toilet rolls, tea towels, dishcloths, washing up liquid and a hairdryer. It was a quiet neighbourhood, in contrast to the busier Mumbles, which was good for us. It was an easy drive into Mumbles itself - and could be walked on a nice day. We had a really lovely stay and look forward to the opportunity to return. Hide
