With the village of Mumbles, with its shops, eateries and pier, just 2 miles away, and vibrant Swansea, with its many city attractions, 6.5 miles away, there is also plenty to keep you busy. Beach-lovers will also enjoy the array of other beautiful bays on the Gower. These include Langland, 1.5 miles away, Oxwich, 9 miles away, and Rhossili, 14.5 miles from the apartment.

Make your way up to the first floor of the building and into the apartment to discover a light-filled, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with underfloor heating and glorious views. From here, gaze out across the bay and along the coast, watching the changing seascapes and looking for seals. Settle down in front of the coal effect fire to watch family films on the TV/DVD player after your exciting days, or play games together. The main thing you need to know when considering whether to stay at this property is, the photos of the view are absolutely real! It really is that good and even better in real life. However, there are lots of other good things - comfy sofa to watch that wonderful changing view, perfectly adequate kitchen and lots of nice touches like a drawer ofRead more 'bits you may need but didn't bring with you' like rubber bands, scissors, etc etc. Some board games and cards to play if it's too wet to go outside, including kiddies things, and a few jigsaws. Lots of choice with the tv. There is a bar to hang wet towels and clothes on in a window with a substantial pulley system - so useful to have. The sun streams through the large window and the room can easily get too warm, but there are some good quality heavy curtains that went a long way to help stop that. The steps down to the beach were well made up and no where near as many as I thought there would be from the description. The time we went (late October) the beach didn't actually dry enough to sit on and there were constant little streams running to the sea, so I'd suggest taking wellies for going for walks. I don't know what it is like in the summer months but I didn't want to take off my shoes to paddle through them! Hide
