Just a couple of hundred of metres from the delightful boutiques, cafes and restaurants of Mumbles, this apartment property could not be more perfectly situated for a fun and active seaside holiday. A little further away are the stunning, family-friendly beaches of Rotherslade and Langland Bay, both less than a mile. Once the ice cream parlours have been investigated and the sandcastles built, head to Mumbles’ own impressive fortress – brooding Oystermouth Castle. Several more castles pepper this coastline – the enchanting sea views at Pennard Castle, 5 miles, are a particular draw. For indoor pursuits, Swansea’s Maritime Quarter is only 5 miles and is home to the National Waterfront Museum and the LC Waterpark.

This beautiful duplex encompasses the first and second floors of a converted Victorian townhouse and offers heritage charm and modern comfort in equal measure. On the first floor, there’s a fine, spacious lounge featuring an attractive period fireplace, high ceilings and large windows to unwind in. A well-equipped kitchen/diner offers both a breakfast bar for quick bites, and a dining table and chairs for more relaxed meals, and there’s a good-sized bathroom on this floor too, with a claw-foot, free-standing bath and a walk-in shower. The high ceilings and pretty ornamental period fireplaces continue on the second floor where they feature in both bedrooms – one double and one twin room.

From the kitchen/diner, a glass door leads out onto a compact patio garden with garden furniture – ideal for a cuppa in the sunshine after a day by the shore – and if the kids need a run-around, there’s a playpark just a few hundred metres walk at Underhill Park.

The property was well maintained with everything you could ask for. It was very spacious and in a good position for the town of and sea front. The furniture and bed was very comfortable. It was lovely having a private outside space.

Lovely cottage, great location for local shops and places to eat and drink. Nice also to have a parking space right by the front door.

This is the second time we have stayed in these apartments. The location is very convenient and the apartments are very comfortable. The decoration and furnishings enhance the character of the building to give a very relaxing environment. Excellent range of kitchen items made cooking main meals very easy.

This is a lovely, clean, comfortable, well equipped place to stay with good wi fi connection and the added bonus of car parking space. It is in an excellent location for exploring the Gower Peninsula.

My Mumbles retreat was a real treat. The apartment was spotlessly clean & a welcome tray of teas & coffee was lovely . The bed was super comfortable, plenty of towels & the necessary items for a do it yourself holiday. Parking off road was great if not a little tight with a big car . Location was good for strolls into town, accessing the beaches Read more& coastal path. I would highly recommend this property & look forward to returning .. Hide
