This warm and welcoming property on the Mumbles headland makes a terrific base for a family seeking both a holiday adventure and a peaceful retreat. The coastline is strung with beautiful rocky and sandy beaches – the closest is Limeslade Bay Beach, just over 300 metres away – so sandcastle builders, rock-poolers, water-sports enthusiasts and beach bathers will all love this setting. For indoor water fun, head to the LC in Swansea’s Maritime Quarter, 6 miles, Wales’ biggest indoor water park. Also nearby, everyone will enjoy the indoor rainforest at Plantasia Tropical Zoo and the year-round exhibition programme at the fascinating National Waterfront Museum. Closer to home, enjoy a stroll the Mumbles promenade with an ice cream in hand after a busy day.

This wonderful, one-storey cottage is a comfortable, home-from-home ideal for a reviving family break. The lounge/dining room is a particularly appealing space, bathed in light from windows on two sides and boasting superb sea views too. This room has cosy seating, a TV, and a dining table and chairs positioned in a bright spot by the window. A compact, well-equipped kitchen, a modern family bathroom with both a bath and an overhead electric shower, and two good-sized bedrooms – one double and one twin – complete the indoor accommodation.

Outside, a small patio courtyard to the rear and a bench situated at the front of the property invite you to sit with a morning coffee before setting out for the day.
