A single-storey annexe, nestled in the Welsh village of Bishopston, this holiday home is ideal for couples seeking to explore the Gower Peninsula. It is perfect for anyone wishing to strike out on foot, perhaps attempting a section of the Gower Coast Path, which runs 40 miles around the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Keen swimmers and surfers will enjoy their proximity to the beaches at Caswell Bay and Brandy Cove, 1 mile away, and may wish to visit others further out on the Gower, including Three Cliffs, 5 miles away. The village of Mumbles, 3 miles away, offers a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, and vibrant Swansea is just 6 miles away.

This annexe boasts compact accommodation designed with comfort in mind. Settle in the lounge on the soft seating for a spell, in front of a good film on TV; there is an electric fire to take the edge of cooler evenings. The kitchen benefits from plenty of natural light and features a dining table next to the patio doors. At the end of each day of your stay, treat yourself to a hot bath or shower in the bathroom, then make your way through to the double bedroom for a good night’s sleep.

Have your first cup of coffee of the morning out in the sunny courtyard on summer days, and why not take your meals outside when the weather is kind?

A very good annexe with a lot to recommend it. The owners are lovely, and the property is in a great location. A good place to stay, with lots of equipment.

This is a very comfortable and well-located cottage. We enjoyed the local beaches and pub food. The bed was comfy and the lounge too. Gary and Sue are lovely, friendly hosts

The cottage was a lovely comfortable space, with all the amenities you could need. Gary and Sue went above and beyond with their welcome of jammy welsh cakes and tea set up ready. After breaking my arm the second day they couldn't do enough to ensure I was ok and help with our car and change of plans. We are so grateful. The cottage is in a quiet sRead morepot, we enjoyed the outside space in pleasant surroundings. It is in an ideal position to visit the Mumbles and spectacular Gower coastline, but also close to Swansea. We would love to visit again. Hide

Having the kitchen facilities was great. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The patio was so lovely for chilling out on. We loved Rye Ground annexe. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Gary and Sue were very friendly and helpful. It was in a great location for exploring the area with lots of shops, pubs beaches close by. We will recommend Rye Ground Annexe to friends and family and return ourselves .

Had a lovely stay .. kitchen well equipped everything we needed for a weeks stay .. cosy home from home setting was lovely and quiet own patio and parking space , dog friendly which is a bonus and owners nearby if needed , short drive to beautiful beaches and also mumbles just over a 5 min drive away

Owners could not of been more helpful and friendly..we had read cups and. Jam slices on arrival and a guided tour to know everything worked. Would definitely return.Thank you Owners and Buddy (the dog ) was an absolute delight :)
