This comfortable two-bedroom cottage is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Mumbles, Swansea Bay, and is a great base for a couple or small family wanting to be close to both amenities and the sea. Mumbles village, just over 300 metres from the house, is a vibrant place with a good selection of shops, galleries, restaurants, and parlours selling first-class ice cream. It also features a Victorian pier, an 18th-century lighthouse, a 12th-century castle, and a 5-mile seafront promenade that stretches around the bay to Swansea Marina. Mumbles marks the beginning of the Gower Peninsula’s coastline and hikers can pick up the Wales Coast Path from the village and enjoy scenic walks including the 12.5-mile walk along cliff paths and beaches to Three Cliffs Bay.

On the ground floor, the open-plan living area is adorned with cheerful furnishings, and a wood burner in the lounge makes things cosy on chilly nights. The lounge is the ideal room to relax in, and huge sofas invite you to sit and chat with friends and family or simply curl up and watch a film on the TV. A dining table, seating four people, overlooks the lounge and is perfect for creating intimate meals while a large window drenches the whole space in uplifting, natural light. Homely touches include soft cushions on the sofa and artwork on the walls. Off from the living area is a kitted-out kitchen with patio doors leading out to the garden. From the living area, a staircase sweeps up to the first floor where the two bedrooms are located. Featuring a double bed and twin beds, the rooms are light and airy and adorned with heavy drapes, ambient lighting, and ample wardrobe space. The double bedroom has a pretty Juliet balcony that overlooks the rear garden. There’s also a bathroom and a separate shower room on this floor.

Back on the ground floor, the kitchen patio doors lead out onto a decked area with steps down to a patio dotted with potted plants, shrubs, and trees. Enjoy a quiet coffee at the garden table or simply sit back, relax and feel the sun on your face.

Well equipped, spacious cottage, conveniently situated in the heart of Mumbles Village, where you will find a host of lovely eateries and individual shops.

We would not book through holiday cottages again. The property was not clean when we arrived so we spent time cleaning everything before we could cook a meal. On the 2nd day the shower blew and started smoking whilst my husband was in in- this was not taken seriously by Holiday Cottages - very poor. We had previously stayed in this cottage many timRead morees without any issues- we would only recommend if not booked through Holiday Cottages. Hide

Beautiful property in a great location . Although parking outside is very tight. Good job there was the use of a garage . We have booked to return next year.

Lovely house, well placed for Mumbles front. Sadly cleanlyness let it down, we had a few issues. Parking a big issue, be carefully on him day, if you have to park away from the house, i had my wing mirror damaged . Loved Mumbles.

A well equipped convenient cottage with sea views from the kitchen patio and bedroom. Good location within walking distance of local shops and restaurants though the inclines may be difficult for the less able. On street parking very tight due to road width and I wouldnt even attempt the garage. Overall a good value option in a nice area.

Had a great holiday, cottage very clean, comfortable and well equipped. In great location for sea front and shops ,parking can be a little tricky as streets very narrow.

Great location in heart of village with access (hilly in parts) to all amenities and the lovely esplanade. Secluded, well-planted garden adds a touch of the exotic and the overlooking balcony is a real suntrap. Inside, the cottage caters for all needs, with the kitchen especially good.

We had a comfortable stay here, it was a quiet, clean, well-stocked, secure and relaxing base from which to explore Mumbles seafront and the beautiful Gower. T It was a lovely, relaxing, and, well-equipped cottage.

Lovely and spacious cottage in an excellent location, close to all amenities. Very well equipped with plenty of instructions on how appliances work, etc. We found a parking place further up the lane which was fine. A great spot for exploring The Mumbles, Swansea and surrounding places of interest.

Lovely, homely cottage set right in the heart of mumbles. Very well appointed with its own secure rear garden and garage. Positioning of the property is excellent, with the shops, cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and bars of Mumbles being only a few minutes walk away. Parking can be found either outside or very nearby for smaller vehicles but we Read moremanaged to park a larger one very close by with ease. Use of the secure garage was really useful for our bikes etc. we would not hesitate to recommend this property and we will definitely be booking for future visits. Hide

Lovely, comfortable cottage in perfect location for a holiday in the Mumbles. Everything is literally on the doorstep! Food shops, Cafes and bars, the Esplanade is a few minutes walk away offering stunning views around the bay which stretches for miles. It is just a 10 minute walk to Rotherslade and Langland beaches which are absolutely stunning. Read more Cottage is well equipped and has a lovely garden. It also benefits from having a parking space and a garage as well as views of the castle and beach. We didnt want to leave! Hide

Lovely cottage, walking distance to sea front. Comfy bed, 2 bathroom (1 with bath, 1 with shower). There are parking spaces but off very narrow road - so tricky.
