Stay in this end-terraced cottage just 350 metres from Port Eynon’s beautiful beach in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Renowned for its safe waters and beautiful outlook, the bay is sought after yet never feels overly busy. It’s a relaxing base from which to discover the wider Gower Peninsula; Devil’s Bridge with its low tide walkway to Worms Head is 6 miles west, English Heritage’s 14th-century Weobley Castle is well worth the 7.5-mile journey, as is the prehistoric site of King Arthur’s Stone on Cefn Bryn Common, 4.7 miles away.

The lounge is furnished with sofas and solid wood furniture with a wood burner-effect electric fire serving as a focal point; this room is open to the kitchen area and dining space, furnished with a table and chairs for guests to share meals. Also on the ground floor is the first of the bedrooms – a king-size with en-suite wet room, with grabrail and shower with wall-mounted seat. The first floor accommodates a further king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, and a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (shower over bath) and a WC.

Doors from the dining room lead onto a patio area, with the remainder of the garden lawned. This is enclosed by wooden fencing and stone walls with gated access to the front driveway.

A nicely located house. Very comfortable, warm and modern. Beach less than 5 mins. Dogs allowed on righthand section of beach all year round, and left section (and right) from Oct-May. Supermarket deliveries to the house. Space enough for 6.

Excellent location, fantastic accommodation in a quiet area. Close to the vibrant local pub and also a stones throw from the beautiful beach, which is totally safe for swimming! Would recommend a stay here.

The cottage was beautifully clean, very comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of space for 6. Top marks for bed linen and lovely fluffy towels. Great location for the beach. The only thing that let it down was the unreliability of the wifi.
