We were at disappointed by the fact that the property is not actually secluded . You share the grounds with another property and even though this is mentioned in the description it was not very private when the other occupants were coming in and out of the gate/ drive . There is a cottage opposite and a row of houses behind you . We letted the accoRead moremmodation solely on the fact it was supposed to be secluded as my partner has bad anxiety so this spoilt our stay . Also access to the property via road is not easy so be prepared for lots of narrow lanes with few passing places . Access to the beach is very very difficult via a rugged path and rope or walking over large rocks . The property wasnt the cleanest with lots and lots of cobwebs and we had a window cleaner turn up unannounced at 9am which scared my partner who has massive anxiety. The property is functional but not superb.I recommend not visiting on a bank holiday as the queue to oxhill beach was 2 miles long which hindered our journey back quite considerably. Hide

Absolutely the dirtiest property we have ever stayed in with dead spiders and cob webs almost everywhere, upholstery covered in dog hairs and food stains, black mould on shower grouting, uncleaned areas and generally grubby walls and switches. A gorgeous location but we left 3 days early as each morning there were fresh mouse droppings on the floorRead more in the living / dining area. In addition, their maintenance team entered the property when we were out leaving us feeling a little uncomfortable. Finally, guests were expected to clean before departure but there weren't any cleaning products and no washing up liquid or welcome pack on arrival. So as soon as we had arrived it was a trip to the shops to buy all the things that would be expected in a holiday rental. Sorry but this is a place to avoid unless you don't care about the condition and cleanliness. Hide

What a perfect place - ideal for one or for a couple. It was really clean and had all the essentials. There was plenty of hot water, a good shower, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is wonderful, tucked away at the end of a little lane and just a pleasant 5 minute walk to the secluded beach (although getting down to the sand involves walking over rocks). There are miles of cliff walks and nowhere on the Gower is more than about 20 minutes by car. I'll be back! Hide

This is an unusually designed modern property, with the bedroom downstairs and the lounge/kitchen/diner upstairs. Ones first impressions are favourable and certainly the bedroom is excellent, the bathroom and shower are too, with plenty of hot water.

An excellent cottage for 2 people and a dog in a very quiet location. Dark skies at night if you are into star gazing. Well positioned for exploring the rest of the Gower peninsular and not too far from Swansea. The cottage is situated right next to a short, but rough, track to the Wales coast path, from where there is a good walk west to Port EynoRead moren and a lovely walk east to Oxwich Bay. Both of these walks can be turned into circular walks directly from the cottage. The equipment provided was mostly good, seating and beds are comfortable. This was our second visit to the cottage.
